"Great location for sure and the modern minimalist lobby is very nice. Rooms are simple but nice and bed was comfy. However cleanliness wasn't up to par. We found receipts on the floor from the previous guests and there were cigaret butts on the tiny terrace and the sink could have used a little wash down as well. Which means either they didn't clean it between guests or did a rush job. Which is also disappointing given that we had to pay 40 pounds to check in early because we arrived at noon and check I. Wasn't until 3. We would've just left our bags and gone exploring but it was 15 pounds per item so with 3 suitcases it was cheaper to pay to check in early. It's like they rush to get the rooms ready in order to do the upcharge for early check in thing. Probably also why check out is 10am (or you can pay to get a later check out). Not cool Zedwell ...not cool."

"It was fine. The room was comfortable enough. Was incredibly slow check-in, and room service didn't arrive prior to 5 pm so we skipped I, which is fine just not expected. The good thing was the cafe next door, good coffee and food and nice staff. "

"Breakfast was terrible, you have to wait ages to be seated as the restaurant is not big enough to serve the hotel. Be careful which part of the hotel you stay in, some rooms on the road are incredibly noisy and you can hear the tube every 20 seconds. No sleep!"

"Lobby area was good and clean. Fairly busy at times. Downstairs bar was very busy, not enough staff to cater for the guests. Lift access was somewhat confusing and not explained properly to the guests, there should have been someone standing at the lift to explain how it works. Room was average and it was facing the back of the hotel, the air conditioning generator was outside and omitting a very loud sound all day and night. We had to ditch the fridge off too as that was making loud clicking sound too. If you want a peaceful night sleep then it’s not an ideal room. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom very average and worn out. Location was at Marble Arch, 1 minute walk from Oxford street. Plenty of eateries and shops. Perfect location for shopping."

"The staff was extremely rude. Seems like everyone was in a bad mood. Careful with this hotel, i accidentally booked a room in the basement with no windows. (My fault). The hallways are hospital like and very cold. I asked for an upgrade and I got it for the next day, but the rude lady at the front desk said if you don’t remove your luggage by 3 we will cancel all your rooms. There is a weird rude vibe in this place. Way better hotels in the area than this one."
