"I wasn’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. However I had a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and importantly for me the hairdryer was good. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. The overhead shower was powerfully enough and the water was hot. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, it was peaceful. My tv worked. Kettle was clean. "My room was on the top floor with a private use bathroom across the corridor frommy room. It was a small shower room with toilet. The shower was OK, but not very powerful. I liked the amenities provided. Shower gel etc and a razor pack in the bathroom, coffee and hot chocolate in the bedroom. Wifi was excellent. "We have stayed here previously for a festival and found the food really tasty with incredibly generous portions, lovely friendly staff and nice rooms for a great price which was the reason we chose again this year. Unfortunately, we are not sure if we can stay again next year as hoped as the price has jumped up by almost £100 for the same weekend."

"Stayed in the newly refurbished Louis room - it was fab. I would rate this excellent but Mon-Fri breakfast has now been downgraded to a continental one and it was OK but not the best. Very carb / sugar based ('normal' sliced bread, cereals, fruit). Tea was weak as was the coffee. i would recommend you add in yoghurt, meat, cheese to ensure some can have a protein based start to the day. There is an attractive dining area but we were in the bar... few tweaks could make a lot of difference "

"We choose The Boot Inn to stay overnight as we were meeting family for dinner in nearby Mercia Marina, we were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was as described on website, very comfortable and stylishly designed, breakfast was very much to our liking and the options were plentiful should you need.
