For the money Tim Place is outstanding. Nothing fancy = just good basic accommodation. Super convenient location. Short walk to BTS station. Quiet and clean.

Overall it was a good value for money option. The place was old, very small, not a good airflow. Good thing was the elevator. Good use of tiny space to use as a hotel. 300 Batt security deposit for the key was little unexpected. Receptionist was quite helpful.

The location is kind of tucked away, but relatively close to BTS Phra Khanong, about a 10 minute walk or less. The hotel has definitely seen better days. The first room I was didn’t have a proper working air con, so I was switched to another room. The second room had a dirty rag on a table. I tossed it out and disinfected common touch points with Lysol wipes. Bedding sheets have some stains, as well as the bathroom towels, which don’t smell fresh at all. The room and bathroom are dilapidated and don’t look the cleanest. Ants are a problem, so make sure to keep food and drinks sealed away, or they’ll find a way to swarm. If you can tolerate these things and lower your expectations, it’s okay for location
