I would recommend staying here only if you are desperate to save money. The property needs some work and they need to put more effort into the daily management of the amenities.
There are many problems with this hostel. My stay here was okay, good even, but that is mainly because I was lucky and had the entire bunk room to myself for my entire stay, one whole week.
The property, overall, is not nice.
The bunk rooms are clean though. The bathrooms are clean but not very nice. NO bathmats and they do not always replace the toilet paper in a timely manner.
The staff are very nice guys, but they are not very attentive and a bit lazy.
WARNING: THERE IS NO REAL KITCHEN. The fridge in the kitchen does not work and they offer you a mini-fridge in another room on the second floor. It is not big and you have no room to store any food.
The patios are nice to have, but the tabletops and chairs are not always clean.
I saw two mice there during my stay.
I was expecting to see cockroaches, due to the overall condition of the building, but I was surprised NOT to see any.
With very little effort and organization, and better daily management, this hostel could be much better. I used my own trash bags and took out my own trash. The trash in my bathroom was never emptied for an entire week.
The location is great, very close to Digital Park and two BTS stations and the entire Udom Suk area. The staff are nice, but the property overall is not very comfortable.
