Very bare basic hotel. You can do better
While it’s about a 10 to 12 minute walk to the main area of Silom, it is down an isolated road, so it feels like a longer walk. The hotel itself is rather charmless. Very basic and cramp, and a bit worn. What stood out is the lack of trust. The hotel requires a deposit, as if one were to trash the place or steal something. I’d go elsewhere.

Upon checking in they are very welcoming however upon checking out they will first inspect your room to get your 1000 baht deposit back. Stayed there 3 nights and never had my room cleaned by the maid because so what they’re just going have it do it again when I leave so I decided why put the maid through the hassle. When checking out they found a small food stain on the bed sheet and a dirt stained towel I used to wipe up the water on the floor with after I got out of the shower just to be courteous to the maid. They then pulled a sheet of paper with 15 different fees they try to rip you off from dirty towels, stains on bed sheets, additional cleaning fees etc etc The amount they tried to steal was 2000 baht. At the end I just threw them 500 baht and walked out because I didn’t want to argue anymore. The funny thing was after I told them I “was” going to come back to stay for a another week because it was quiet and nobody stays there then a manager comes and talks to me while I am waiting in the street for my cab. In the end the manager offered to give me my 500 baht not because it was the right thing to do but because she wanted me to come back and was afraid of this Expedia I’m writing now. Keep in mind I never write good or bad reviews but this was so bad I took time out of my vacation to write this. Silom forest exclusive hotel when you read this. Shame on you people

Convenient to Nearby street food, local shops and a few blocks walk to BTS Sky Train. Near Bangkok Office & Banking district, busy area but to me a nicer area not a seedy bar area more normal type of city neighborhood. Now for the Rooms they have four plans pictures are on the website , I suggest you pick the Exclusive or One bed Apartment unless your in a budget or alone and don't mind a smaller room. Rooms are clean but bathroom plumbing fixtures and TV are dated. No major facilities like Pool or Gym or buffet but a cute safe hotel, friendly staff,with clean rooms ,fridge, microwave and hot water kettle for instant coffee or Tea . So if you want something that is not fancy but is clean room that gets it done for a reasonable price in this area there you go . If they fix the shower head problems and buy new 40" TVs with HDMI then it would of gotten 5 stars for Price and Location but overall a good small Hotel.

Very nice place, polite and pleasant staff. Hotel is close to patpong Market but also far enough away if that area bothers you, there's also some great street food on the doorstep

Friendly staff newish hotel hard beds
The hotel is a new modern Place located in a saint straight but very close and within walking distance to the BTS train station. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Perception is in an open area so it is quite hot and stuffy. The rooms are an average size and the beds were very hard I advise perception and very quickly and kindly they put a mattress topper on the bed to make it bearable to sleep on. The room had all that was required and the small balcony which was rather useless because it just looked on to the side of another building. This hotel is okay for short stay of a couple of nights but if you had to stay any longer you would certainly want something more comfortable

Wow.
What a great place. From the moment we arrived, which was after midnight, until we left 5 day's later, the stay was fantastic. Close to everything we wanted to see and do, the street food was delicious and so much to choose from, transport so easy ,and was surprised that taxi fares were cheaper than Grab.The accommodation was great and last but not least, the staff were just wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Bangkok.

Great budget price but top level quality
Excellent hotel I would highly recommend and it’s cheap for what you get. Very clean , new and service is great. I was so happy to find this hotel as it is my new favorite in Silom, Bangkok area. Room has every you need and is very comfortable and modern. Had a safe , tv with couple English channels and nice shower. Closet space and a table to work from. My room also had a balcony which is good for a smoker. Also a/c stays on while your out of your room. A rarity in Asia as a whole. Even some hi end hotels it turns off after you leave the room :)

Ma and Pa feel
Can be a bit noisy in the morning but the owners were extremely kind and helpful. They really made our stay. Would definitely stay again!

I was very happy in this small boutique style hotel in Silom. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The wifi worked well, and the staff were happy and helpful. I thought the price charged was good. 2 BTS stations are within walking distance. Lots of food stalls, resturants, coffee shops and 7/11s around. Security was effective.

Nice place
Second stay in Bangkok and preferred this area over Khao San Road. Less touristy and more or a locals fibe. The apartment was small but it was all I needed. A nice comfy bed with a great shower. The balcony was a nice touch. Very clean and again quiet. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to public transport and nightlife. Would stay here again

Though Silom Forest Exclusive Residence located near Patpong night market, it takes more than 10 minutes to go to BTS station. However, it only takes a few minutes to walk to the main street where you can find lot of food stalls in the street and a shopping mall where there is restaurants. Still, the hotel is cozy.

Quiet, central and great place to stay!
This place is truly a beautiful hidden treasure just in the centre of silom but very quiet.walking distance to the sky train, bars , restaurants, 7-11 shops and the street markets. The hotel staffs are very helpful and polite. The building has not too many rooms so it keeps your privacy and quiet quality time for staying. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Great Location, Staff and Hotel - Recommend!
The Silom Forest Residence is only a few years old and is very comfortable. Anne - the Manager - is always available to take care of any issue - even getting up early to see you off. The bed is comfortable and large. The room is small, especially with a king or queen sized bed but we are only using it for sleeping so it works. There is a Asian full sized refrigerator, a microwave, and a hot pot for hot water, along with dishes. A large closet - though you may need some more hangers, and a desk with chair. There is a room safe for locking up your valuables. A small balcony is off the room. The Silom Forest is close to Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng BTS Stops making it convenient to get around. Since it is not on the main road, there is little traffic noise. There is a guard on site during the night to ensure only guests enter the premises. A great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Apartment was not easy to find. Check in was good. Room was small but in good condition. Previous complaints about the air conditioning blowing onto the bed was correct. I ended up with a cold. You had to unplug the microwave to use the kettle, but room has all the necessary kitchen items. Place was clean and well kept. Location is good, but the walk can be unusual for some. Over all you know the owner cares about how the place looks and feels.

Great Place Central to Everything
Overall, this was a great stay. The hotel is also a long term residence, and caters to simply living in the city. The location is very nice if you're looking to be central in the Silom area. Easy access to the BTS as well as walking distance to almost everything that you could desire. Only drawback is that the staff does not speak English well. They are incredibly pleasant, but the language barrier does create some difficulty, but certainly not anything that can't be overcome. Additionally, given that it is a residence at not a hotel, the desk is not always staffed after hours. Late/Early check in or out was difficult for me and took almost 20 minutes to get a staff person to return my deposit on checkout. Certainly not a reason to avoid this hotel, but good to plan for.

the location is perfect, the staff friendly, the rooms very small respectively cramped. definitely annoying was that they called me an overpriced taxi to the airport although i did NOT ask them to book a taxi for me. Als annoying was the charge of 200 THB - 5,52 Euro - for a broken drinking glas. after some debate the reduced the fee to 100 THB.

I don't want to remember bad experiences but 3 days at the hotel 2 days without air conditioning, no compensation, no room replacement was offered. no breakfast, no pool. view of the wall, no daylight very small room with incredibly hard bed the hotel is in a side dark street 15 minutes walking BTS My horror stay at this hotel was a real mistake.

Dear Jan Hejduk, I am so sorry for the bad experiences that occurred with my hotel. On the 1st day you stayed the air-condition was in a good condition. But on the 2nd night, it was broken in accidentally and we tried to solve the problem by tried to find a spare part that borken. But unfortunately it was Saturday and the manufactory was closed. So we contacted outsource company and he said he was able to service on Sunday afternoon. So the outsource mechanic came around 2 pm on Sunday. So, on the Saturday night I gave a fan for you to resolve the unexpected situation. We had tried our best we can do. However, we are sincerely sorry that it was not meet to your satisfaction. And due to our hotel was fully occupied so that's why we did not have room for replacement. If we had, we would offer you for sure. For about no breakfast and no pool, when you booked a room through Hotles.com the website already provide you the information clearly what facilities the hotel have. And breakfast and pool do not show in the website. For about room view, our hotel is located in the heart of bangkok, city center area, and this hotel is low-rise hotel. We have 8 floors, you were stayed on the 6th which we arrange you almost top of the floor. Eventhough it is not a good view but it does have daylight. Our glassdoors access to the balcony is big enough for daylight for sure. For about side dark street, actually along this street has public street light. I do believe that every hotel in this area will face this problem at night if you say so. For about BTS, our hotel close to 2 BTS station. 1. BTS Chong nonsri: 4 mins. walking distance 2.BTS Saladaeng: 15 mins. walking distance If you choose to go to Chong nonsri BTS station, it will shorter than go to BTS Saladaeng station. You can asked at the reception, we are ready to assist you as we serve to our other guests
