Worth for the price....good as it is not along a busy road. Accomodating staffs especially the front desk guy who has a pony tail (sorry, i don't kbow his name). Overall, it's satisfactory. I hope i can go visit Bangkok again....

Wonderful experience, at first i was little scared, the hostel looked small and some reviews were bad, but i was surprised and i had the best time, the only issue i will point out are the matress they are very hard and me and my girlfriend had trouble sleeping everything else is perfect for the price.

Unexpected Surprise
I was staying a couple of blocks away at another property I’d booked on Expedia, and after stopping by to check on tour that was leaving from here, and promptly packed up and moved to a room here. The front desk staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere relaxing yet active. It did not disappoint. I stayed in Bangkok an extra night and have already booked it for my friend’s arrival. I will stay again every time I’m in Bangkok. Easy walk from train & subway.

good clean place and great value for money.
Stayed here for 1 night before catching the train to hua hin, its a little hard to find as it is behind the main road, but lookout for the sign between the shops and you will find it. The staff were really friendly and spoke very good english. They do offer free walking tours at 11am daily but we arrived after 11am so can't say how good the tour is. We stayed in a private double room, good size and clean. Only problem for me was the bed was hard as nails and the pillow was so hard i got a headache using it, ended up using my travel pillow to sleep. Apart from the bed everything was very good and i would recommend this place if you can deal with a hard bed.

They offer me towel and shower even if I already checked out , there was a service that help you to plan your trip, me I already booked my hotel they helped me to buy the Thain tickets , flight ticket from Chiang rai to bangkok, few transit trip from town to town , very good service

Really great place to stay,
This place is a great place to stay, the staff are very helpful and provide you with lots of tourist info. They have neighborhood walks everyday for free so that you get familiar with your area. And they'll give you tips of where to stay away for scams. The facilities are really clean, wifi is 8/10 in rooms but 10/10 in the lobby, they also have two computers with internet for you to use. They have breakfast buffet (very small & same every day) but it's affordable.

Good location
The hotel in general is really nice, but for the price we paid i am not happy. We had our private room, we arrived at 6 am but we could check in at 2.30 pm (which they say but we didn't know) we checked in and at midnight i discovered a bed bug (which can always happen, that is not to blame, the room was very clean and tidy). We got a new room directly, but really the staff didn't seem to care..i was upset since i was tierd from the journey before, no one apologize to us, the staff was really cold and we had to "run after them" so they wash and steam our clothes in case bugs got into it..i slept many times in bkk in very cheap places, and always i felt home. I paid more this time since i chose this location especially,and for the money i paid I'm really disappointed(i booked before online so no refund)..as well the music in the night was quite loud and very annoying(charts music) and the most annoying of all the wifi is everywhere very very bad..the guesthouse in general is clean and very modern, the room was beautiful, but i felt uncomfortable there and in the end with everything that happend i have to say it was not worth it for the money.

Nice budget hotel
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really appreciate their upbeat attitudes and help with getting ammeter taxi. The area itself isnt too great - it's very far from everything aside from Skybar down the street.

The average hostel.
The bed is noisy, not comfortable and you do not have easy access to reception. It's in the other building. The outlet socket beside my bed is not working too. Compared to other hostels, this is worse.

Expensive for what you get
I was exhausted while booking this hotel. Sadly I didnt see the sneaky $12 add on for the 5 year old child when checking out. If I had of seen this (room was advertised as 29 per night ended up paying $40) I would have canceled and booked elsewhere. Most hotels dont charge for a 5 year old child. There is major renovations going on which is pleasing for future travellers however currently travellers were not giving any kick back for the reno's or inconvenience noise etc,, and yet there is no mention of upgrades renovations when you book. Breakfast is not included but is 150 baht. First morning we picked a cockroach out of our fried egg and had to show the staff before getting a fresh egg. Sadly this cockroach passed the cook, the serving staff and had to be pointed out by us even though it stood out like dogs bollacks on our plate when it was served. They were very apologetic and replaced the egg straight up but sadly it questions hygiene standards of the kitchen. The room is great and beds are super comfy. Shower and bathroom were great and nice and clean. We stayed two nights but our room was not cleaned, nor was the towels replaced or toilet paper refilled. WE complained to reception whom were again very apologetic but still didnt get our room cleaned. We came home to a do not disturb sign on our door but we didnt place it there. Staff said they were busy but would clean our room in the afternoon, didnt happen. 15 min walk to eateries.

For the extra bed charge, we are sorry that this was not clear on the Online Booking site you used. Unfortunately, we can only do the room setup within their frames, and we are sorry that this left you confused. We will see what we can do to improve this, but may take some time. For the refurbishment, you are right that this is currently running (or actually just finished here in early September), and we have informed all our Online Partners about this before we started. There should be a note on our property site for the process, and dates. We are though sorry that you experienced this as an inconvenience and did what we could to minimize the impact on travellers. You are also right, that it now stands fresh and new for future travellers' pleasure, and we are truly sorry that you were not the ones to benefit from this. In all, we are happy that you liked our rooms, but sorry that the rest did not live up to your expectations. And that you find us worthy of 4 out of 5 stars. We are located in a small alley on Charoen Krung Road between soi 34 and 36. This can be hard at times for taxi drivers to find, though we provide all the street signage we are allowed to have - and do what we can to inform travellers about our location in advance. We will though see, how we can improve this even further. We provide free wifi across our property - both common areas and rooms, and we have had quite good feedback on its stability during the past 3-4 months. We have had (and at times still do) have problems since we are located in an old quarter of Bangkok where cables are still beyond our control. However, we strive to fix it at all times and dedicate quite some time and resources to do so. We are sorry that you (and we) couldn't make it work when you stayed with us but happy to say that it is working very stable at the moment. Great Staffs.Great Location..Great value for money
Staffs at the front desk are very helpful and take my hats off to them going out of their way to help. Having a place to store or leave the luggage for a couple of hours while waiting for check-in is a big bonus for guest who fly in early and guest flying out a bit late after checkout time. Breakfast is good but could use a bit of change from time to time .
