This is a lovely little hotel, a peaceful oasis in the city. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful always. We had a family suite and the room was spacious and comfortable. We were thrilled with the hotel from top to bottom, except that we had a lot of trouble with the wifi.
The neighborhood was farther from the city than I expected. The neighborhood is not tourist friendly, and it also lacks the charm of many "authentic" travel experiences. However, there are malls and street food nearby, and a big Tesco Lotus, so you can absolutely find food, taxis, and everything you need here. It's not a bad neighborhood, but it's not really a pleasant place to walk around either. There is a cat cafe next to the cinema, and there are lots of restaurants in the basement of the Central Plaza Mall across the street.
I was spending time with my family here, and the hotel was perfect for that. We just had to take a taxi when we wanted to explore Bangkok.
