We stayed at Baan Pra Nond during our time in Bangkok and it was the perfect locally owned and operated B&B! Upon arriving, we were greeted with Thai tea and hot towels, and every staff person we met was so kind and helpful! The breakfasts and French press coffee were delicious, and the cozy, beautifully decorated rooms are stocked with plenty of water--as well as daily incense. We could not have enjoyed our time more at Baan Pra Nond and are so grateful for the hospitality of the family and staff.

Very noisy but centrally located

On the positive side, the staff are super friendly and the breakfast is good. But the area is very loud and noisy, mostly because of traffic. The room is quite dark and the WiFi is sporadic. Mosquitos were a big problem, providing a coil or repellent for guests would be nice.

女一人旅で一週間ほど滞在しました。 親切で明るいスタッフが様々な気遣いをしてくれるアットホームな宿で、女性1人でも安心して滞在できます。 都心にあるとは思えない緑あふれる庭や、素敵な調度品に囲まれてリラックスして過ごせました。 駅から徒歩4分ほどのところで、大通りに面しているので、夜遅くなっても怖くありません。 向かいにコンビニや深夜まで営業している美味しいイサーン料理の食堂があるので、食事に困りませんでした。 朝食も毎日メニューが変わりとても美味しかったです。 たまに会えるスタッフの子どもやワンちゃんにも大変癒されました。 朝早く暗い時間に地方に出発する際は夜勤のスタッフがサンドイッチを作ってもたせてくれ、タクシーに行き先を伝えるところまでサポートしてくださり大変助かりました。 残念な点を挙げるとすれば、夏だったので庭に蚊が多く、1階の部屋だったせいか蚊が部屋に入り込んで10箇所くらい刺されたこと、部屋に窓がないのでやや湿気を感じたことだけです。 このお値段でこの環境、サービスを受けられる宿は、バンコクでもそうそう無いと思います。 次にバンコクを訪れる際はまたぜひ利用させていただきます。

Der still des Hotels entspricht genau dem was wir mögen. Liebevoller kolonial Stil. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, für uns perfekt. Bangkok ist fast überall laut. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und Inhaberin sind außergewöhnlich. Wir haben und rundum Wohlgefühlt und werden wiederkommen

lovely stay

First time for us in a b&b!! wow, a lovely house in a very local area. Great for a couple of days, close to bangrak, the river and bts, very busy with traffic outside but managable.The room was nice and cosy and the pool was brilliant, big thanks to Janya for advice and info, highly recommended

とても可愛らしいホテル。部屋は綺麗でお湯もしっかりでます。大きな道路沿いで音がうるさいのが難点です。スタッフの対応はとても良いです。

Veldig hyggelig folk og god service. Praktisk plassering nær skytrain og båter. Rent. Men hotellet ligger under en motorvei med mye bråk og lite lys. Lite hyggelig strøk. Misvisende bilder. Ubrukelig svømmebasseng. Hard seng.

Boutique hotel close to train station

I loved staying here! It’s just a few blocks from the Surasak sky train station that’s just a few stops from the center town. The hotel is managed by the granddaughter of the original owner- and you can see pictures of him and his family in the main entry way. The only issue with this place is that it’s so close to the highway that you do have to sleep with ear plugs. But other than that- it’s super charming and welcoming.

Joli hôtel mais extrêmement environnement bruyant

L'hôtel est une jolie maison, l'équipe très sympa et très attentionnée, mais la localisation est vraiment très moyenne. L'hôtel est situé au croisement d'une route de 2 fois 4 voies et d'une autre de 2 fois 3 voies, tout en étant quasiment surmontée d'une autoroute urbaine. De ce fait le bruit est permanent et franchement gênant. C'est dommage tant le reste est plus positif.

พาแม่มาพักใกล้บ้าน ด้วยความอยากรู้อยากเห็นว่าภายในจะเป็นอย่างไร มีทั้งหมด 8ห้อง เงียบสงบภายใน รู้สึกเหมือนบ้าน มีสระว่ายน้ำเล็กๆ ไม่มีโอกาสได้ใช้ พนักงานเป็นมิตร ให้การต้อนรับเป็นอย่างดี สามารถจอดรถได้ไม่เกิน 4คัน แต่เอารถเข้าออกยากไปหน่อย เพราะต้องคอยแจ้งพนักงานเพื่อเปิดประตูให้ แต่อยู่ใกล้สถานี bts ถ้าไม่ได้นำรถมา ห้องพักน่ารักมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกพื้นฐานครบ แต่กลางคืนจะเสียงดังเนื่องจากตำแหน่งที่ตั้งอยู่ติดริมถนนใหญ่ เมนูอาหารเช้าจะมีการหมุนเวียน แต่ถ้ามีความต้องการอะไรเป็นพิเศษ สามารถแจ้งล่วงหน้า

Gorgeous place but wouldn’t stay again

The house itself and garden is beautiful, pool is fine but the traffic is just too much. This would stop us from staying again. There were a couple of lights out in the room so it was quite dark and the shower leaked badly in the bathroom. The bed was too hard, maybe slightly softer mattress needed but the bed linen was lovely. The house is gorgeous and very well kept, snack options fine but breakfast there should be 2 choices and not just presented with one thing. Just if possible that would be better.

Heritage/Colonial Charm, Very Comfortable

This hotel is an absolute gem. It's tucked away from one of the busiest intersections in Sathorn which makes it very close to a lot of popular spots along the river and it's steps away from Surasak BTS which is pretty much your connection to the rest of the city. The staff is extremely friendly so it made my stay very comfortable, they have a dog named Logan...who is a big flirt btw, totally going to miss him. The room I stayed in was filled with old Thailand charm, it has that heritage/colonial feel to it so I kinda fell in love with it right away....I took a million photos here which I'll share on IG soon. I have nothing bad to say about this place - it's absolutely charming. Defnitely coming back!.
