Hotel and staff were wonderful. Great shower. Breakfast could use some improvement. Stayed 4 days and same offer all 4 days. Variety needed.

The mattress was not covered in a bed bug protector. The dresser, nightstand and headboard all were dirty and needed to be wiped down, i.e. sticky substances on tops and headboard had thicker small sticky substances. Did not feel at all comfortable in the bed for lack of being safe from both possible beg bugs/sanitation. I was in a position of my flight delay causing me to miss my connecting flight, so I had to pay out of pocket for the hotel. Most 24 hour hotels provide coffee/tea at all times, this hotel did not. There was no designated smoking area. The only good part of my stay was my shuttle driver Sam, who provided a crying, very upset solo female with a laugh to try to cheer me up. The elevator was extraordinarily slow and felt unsafe. I would recommended an overhaul. I adore most all La Quinta's for being pet friendly. While I recently lost my two dogs, I would choose to stay with a hotel that values pets both large and small. This would not be one of them.
