"We were traveling for 2 nights to enjoy the city and the hotel as a family. The check in staff was very friendly and the hotel was very close to the Amtrack station, which we took from New York. We ended up eating in the restaurant during sunset and the view was great, even if it was raining a little. The food was good and the kids meals were priced well. The main reason we considered this hotel was to use the pool but unfortunately it was cold. The pool and pool room is not heated above maybe a room temperature. My kid was still able to have some fun and swim but not for very long. Other than that, the wifi was weak at times and there were no USB chargers in the room. I had to unplug the coffee pot to use the outlet to charge my phone. The first night of our stay, I went to shower and there was no hot water. I let the water run for approximately 20 minutes but it was still not warm/hot. In the morning it was working great and so not a huge problem but if I was arriving after a long trip and only staying 1 night I would have been upset. The hotel is a good location, great restaurant and clean room but just a few basic things need to get upgraded."

"Wanted to have a staycation so I picked this hotel. Its in a great location near a lot of good restaurants and places to shop/walk around. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed my staycation. It is downtown so parking is horrible as can be expected. Luckily there is a parking garage nearby it is expensive but an option if you don't want to be circling the block for space to park in."

"We stayed for 3 nights. Staff was friendly, room and lobby were clean. We couldn’t use the pool as there was an issue with the pump. Breakfast was good - nothing special but better than just cereal. We used the parking garage diagonal from the hotel attached to the luminary building. Cheaper than the valet parking the hotel offered. Room service was done the second day. They took 3 dirty bath towels and replaced them with only 1. Strange but we were leaving the next morning so we made due If you’re looking for a clean hotel downtown this was a good pick. Good location for walking to things"
