"The breakfast was continental, tea, toast, coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt and delicious overnight oats. We do like a cooked breakfast though so this is a mark down for us. "My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "

"My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. "

"Room was lovely had what you need. It was quite cold but the weather was appalling therefore no fault of the room but I did get up at 3am and have to override the thermostat to put the radiator on. I would suggest thicker better quality towels for a 5 star rating but overall. Friendly helpful staff and spotless. Would come again and recommend to friends. "

"This hotel is not for you if you want modern key carded rooms. Most certainly there is a regal atmosphere in its accommodation. The bedroom gave me concern as it was at the top of the main stairs and could have been noisy however that was not the case. It was quiet and very adequate in value for money.
