"What an enchanting place with so much charm, heart and history. Walking the walled garden, sitting in the drawing room while having a couple of drinks from the bar and chatting with the owner, were our favourite things. A delicious breakfast before we left in the morning topped off a great experience. This is the type of charm you don’t find in big corporate hotels."

"For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. "This of all our stats was our favorite. From the time we connected with Shea, e enjoyed every minute of it. He was extremely thorough in providing advice on the room to the details about the property. Everything was well thought through to provide our best experience."

"The room surfaces were clean but the air quality was poor: air circulation was poor, and there was a strong mouldy smell that originated from the bathroom. The hotel felt safe and the beds were fine, and the location is great. Overall, it feels like good value for staying right on The Diamond, but Donegal is small enough that perhaps staying slightly away from the centre would be fine too."
