"The property was so peaceful, everything was clean and despite how cool the the weather was it was always lovely and warm inside."

"the free wifi didn't work ! very frustrating...don't advertise free wifi when it doesn't work"

"Always clean & tidy. Thank you for another great stay"

"Excellent location and property"

"Great location, staff helpful and food delicious. Would happily stay again."

"I was incredibly surprised how good the room was for such a reasonable price. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean and new at the time of our stay. We will be staying here again for our next stay in Ballarat."

"Nice to stay where the property actually lived up to the description. Clean, comfortable and spacious. A little dated but well priced for its age."

"Central location walkable to dining zone and next door to City Hall and excellent tourism office. Grand historic building with museum quality decor, and lots of historic wall prints and memorabilia. Rooms comfortable, feel like you are back in the days when Mark Twain and royals came here to stay."

"TV, microwave and kettle/toaster nice. Lights for some reason had no covers on them, too bright to leave on without the covers. Ended up finding them in the cupboard, carpet was a little sticky. Room wasnt available until a little after 2. Parking was limited car park was all filled up when we arrived back to hotel no where to park. We ended up leaving at 1130 pm to go back home. Would be suitable for couples or singles only staying a little while. Didnt suit us a family."

"The staff were great to deal with and able to extend our stay the day before we arrived. The location was good with easy access and safe parking The room was spacious with a comfortable clean bed and large fridge freezer. The bathroom was also spacious with a roomy shower with abundant hot water and pressure. The fittings in the bathroom were shonky with the roll holder falling off along with a towel rail, these could be easily fixed. We would stay again."
