"The room was clean, check-in was easy. Free, onsite laundry machines and they gave me a little single-use bag of detergent to use. They brought us bananas and snacks to our room a few times (unexpected, nice offering). Right across the street from Da’an Park, a nice place to walk around day and night (very safe, plenty of people even at 10pm). A 2-minute walk to a metro station (Da’an Park Station, red line). Coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner options all on the same block. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was how small the room was. Not a lot of room for opening/closing suitcases but this was minor (and pretty standard in big Asian cities). I would stay here again."

"Got to this hotel after a long two days of flight cancelations due to a typhoon here in Taipei. They greeted me warmly, and most of the staff spoke English well. The room was beautiful, the gym was good as well, and the laundry facilities were welcome after 13 days in China, Vzietnam and Taiwan. Today I extended my stay with no hassle, as again flights were canceled. The hotel restaurant was good, and there are convenience stores nearby and a couple of good restaurants. I appreciated their hospitality."

"The citizenM Taipei North Gate is modern and sleek and is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk from Taipei Main Station and Ximending. The hotel staff is very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean and staff provided free water bottles in our fridge everyday. Overall an excellent stay."
