"Because there are so many beautiful countries and cities across the world, we make it a habit to never go to the same place twice. Marquis is our exception. This was our second year in a row to visit. We returned because the resort is stunning and clean. The food and drinks are excellent. Most of all, we returned because of the staff. Several staff members remembered us, and one called us by name. The Marquis is not a huge resort. It feels very intimate. This allows the staff to get to know you and be very attentive. I have no doubt we will be back."

"A true 5 star resort, beautiful property, amazing/friendly/helpful staff, great food, everything was super clean - rooms, pools, common areas, everything, including the beaches - a perfect place to get away. It’s by no means cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. I can’t wait to return."

"Property was really nice. The security is a little OD. Didn’t like how my 19yr old was treated. Night desk person was really rude and disrespectful. Because of that, I would never stay there again. The front desk manager also tried to charge me extra for my son after I was already checked in and paid in full. Then I was asked to pay a $200 usd deposit for 1 night. I will never stay at this place again."

"Great resort, very clean, loved the planned daily shows, DJ, Magic, Mexican Dancers, the Arabian nights show was outstanding. Loved the beach and open ocean views for sunrises and sunsets, the landscape and flowers were well maintained and beautiful and the pools were very nice, loved the pool bar, all the personnel were very professional and attentive and the food was great! I liked the different meal choices; the pizza oven was very popular, especially with the kids, loved the hamburger and hot dog hut- best hamburgers I’ve had in a long time! A shout out to our servers. Thank you 😊"

"We stayed for a week for our honeymoon and we were very pleased with our stay. We hung at the adult pool the whole week and it was a very chill peaceful atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted. This is a not a party resort which is why we chose this resort. All of staff were very helpful but especially Karen (AnaKaren) in the coffee shop. She made our morning very sweet with her warm friendly personality. The view from our room was great and the beach in front of the hotel was clean and there was hardly ever anyone on the beach so it felt very serene when sitting on a chair under an umbrella just listening to the waves. We would go back!"
