"Amazing view, spacious condo, great location, a few minutes walk to the pools and beach. Not many services around the condo except for a pharmacy and corner grocery store. Mega and La Comer stores are only a 5 minute drive. Restaurant on site serves great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Helpful concierge and staff. "This was my first time at a Riu resort. I was pleasantly surprised by the tropical feeling environment despite the stark castle-like building design. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The restaurants and bars provided a good variety of options. The food and beverage service was good. My favorite restaurants were the Steakhouse and the Elite Club. The American Country sports bar was my favorite place to hang out. Elizabeth and Jamie greeted me by name after my first visit. I ate lunch or dinner there several times during my 14 night stay because of their excellent service. I was a little disappointed that the booking info said the restaurants were open daily (one of the reasons I selected this resort over others) yet while I was there that was not the case. The buffet and poolside snack bars were the only ones open daily. The others were open 3-4 days per week. The beachfront cabanas (Elite Club only) were wonderful! Beverage service provided by Oscar was fantastic! Plenty of lounge chairs poolside available each day. I was thankful for the number of chairs available with shade. I did not utilize the spa services. My package included $500 resort credits. The spa only offered $10 credit toward a $219 - 60 minute massage (least expensive option). They only accepted $10 - $15 credit toward any single service. So that $500 was wasted for me because I was not willing to pay their prices for services. Very disappointing. Overall, I would consider staying again."

"There were several positive aspects of our stay, and I want to recognize the staff who worked hard to make us comfortable. Most employees were friendly, professional, and especially kind to my two toddlers. Their efforts were appreciated. Unfortunately, our overall experience fell well below expectations for a hotel at this price point. Our first issue occurred at check-in. I requested two pack-and-plays for my toddlers, but Benny told me they would not fit in our room without offering alternatives. I later requested one be sent to the room, but it never arrived. After calling the front desk that evening, Edgar quickly arranged for two pack-and-plays to be delivered within minutes. Both fit comfortably, making the initial refusal confusing and frustrating. Another major issue was the extensive construction throughout the property. I understand renovations are sometimes necessary, but I was not adequately informed before booking. Several areas were closed or affected by ongoing work, and the atmosphere often felt more like a construction site than a resort. We also experienced dark-colored water coming from the bathtub faucet, which made me uncomfortable bathing my children. In addition, one elevator was out of service during our stay, creating inconvenience while traveling with two toddlers and a stroller. Our room’s bathroom had a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the week. Housekeeping did an excellent job, so the issue appeared related to plumbing or construction."

"Upon arrival they took about 15 mins just to check me in, when there were about 7 staff members standing behind the counters not helping anyone else. Once I was helped they rain a bell and said someone else will finish the check in to give me more information. That person was not available so they finished my check in without completely giving me all the information about the hotel. There were no staff walking around pool or beach area offering drinks or food as other hotels offer. Pool bar always took forever to get drinks. The restaurants by the pool area didn’t let you walk in even with just a little drip of water because of slipping, but the floor was the same all over the hotel, very slippery. I will not be staying here again and this was my 3x in Puerto Vallarta, first time in this hotel."

"We had a great stay at Delta Marriott Puerto Vallarta. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the pools, beautiful views, and convenient location. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta."
