"The room that my friend and I stayed in had a strange mildew smell and it did not go away during the five days we were there. I also saw a cockroach by the kitchen sink area which was not pleasant at all. We also ran out of toilet paper and messaged the host, but they never responded so we just bought our own. I did not want to give a 1 star just because I feel like they have potential to improve and the price of the place we got made sense I guess."

"Good base and central for sightseeing and activities. Hotel rooms are clean, some very small. I was travelling solo so room was ample wouldn’t know where two suitcases would be stored. The rooms however have zero soundproofing so from early hours of morning to late at night constantly disturbed by doors slamming and housekeeping services. I didnt make use of the afternoon tea as was out most days. So the noise issues were irritating because I had limited rest! I took an early morning trip and breakfast was busy around 6.30am. Also there is limited places to sit in peace and quiet if you are doing research or relaxing. "

"Outstanding convenient location: we were able to walk cross the street to get a boat tour. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast bar was fantastic: lots of fresh fruit, freshly made omelet to your liking and a variety of Vietnamese and western food. The afternoon tea was a real treat! The staff was so welcoming and friendly!"
