Parador de Hondarribia
10/10 Excellent
"We've stayed in several paradors and this one was our favorite. The historic building is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable (we got a junior suite with a gorgeous view of the river) and the staff are warm, courteous and helpful. The location is excellent and the town itself is charming. Not only that, but you can hop on a little ferry boat and seven minutes later you're in France! We highly recommend this hotel and hope you enjoy it like we did."

"We had a lovely stay at the Bellevue. The staff were wonderful. Warm, friendly and incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is a must get with excellent coffee and a lovely addition of providing dried fruit which was delicious. Hendaye was a great place. We would certainly recommend the town and if we return we would definitely stay at the Bellevue again. Merci beaucoup"

"We were met by a friendly man on reception. We had requested two rooms together and were given next door rooms - thank-you. The hotel was beautiful and clean and in a perfect location close to the beach, the boat over to Spain and plenty of shops and restaurants. The pool was lovely and very quiet so never a problem getting a sunbed at any time and pool towels were provided free of charge. We were unable to reserve a car parking space in the hotel as they don’t have many but managed to find a spot outside."

"Really nice hotel. Just off motorway which made it very easy for us to stop overnight while we travelled from UK to southern Spain. Dogs were not a problem. Rooms were clean with a TV and a mini fridge. Breakfast for extra was a lovely buffet. Will be booking again for sure"

"This was a great place to stay just be first starting the El Camino. The staff was really friendly and kind, there's a grocery store right across the street, the town is really safe and quiet, at the breakfast is really phenomenal."
