The hotel was lovely. Well appointed rooms, beautiful public spaces and the location was perfect. Excellent breakfast included. The spa was a great way to pamper ourselves after a long day of sightseeing and a lot of walking. The staff was so helpful in recommending things to do during our too short stay. Excellent service, nice touches like your slippers set out next to your bed on turn down, little munchable treats for bedtime. Amenities included down by the spa at no extra charge- 2 saunas , rainforest shower and the indoor pool. An incredible breakfast included, one of the coolest two pools out there! The floor of the outdoor pool is glass so you are looking down on the indoor pool.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was clean and convenient for our two-day stay in Aveiro. The only improvement would be to somehow reconfigure the bathroom, which was uncomfortably small (kind of had to squeeze in and be careful how one moved about in there). We only had breakfast in the restaurant, but they seemed to be trying too hard for their Michelin guide inclusion (for example, the avocado toast ordered for breakfast was just a little too weird to eat, but otherwise the buffet items were really quite good).

The hotel staff were very helpful and offered recommendations and made restaurant reservations for us. The spa was lovely and I had a great massage. The gal didn't speak English and I don't speak Portuguese (sorry!), but we made it work. The hotel breakfast was soooo good. The property overall was very nice and it is steps away from restaurants and shopping, but very quiet.
