"The hotel was hard to find despite being in the Main Street in Golling. This was due to it being renovated and partially hidden by this. Entrance to car park is via a narrow passage through the building to the back which was a bit tight both the passage and the car park. Parts of the hotel that have been renovated are good but more needs to be done professionally. Once the reception was found the staff were helpful. "The roof bar offered a wonderful view of the mountains. The room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed The Innsbruck Welcome Card which came as part of our two night stay. Quirky, almost brutalist interior architecture, with glass rooms within the inner 'courtyard' to enjoy the vibe (although the automatic glass door wouldn't re-open for us and we had to phone reception to let us out!)"

"Extremely hot during visit and hotel has no air con. Therefore difficult to sleep as did not cool down at all. The hotel is on a main road just off the motorway. It’s 20km from berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. It has no real amenities close by except supermarkets and a gas station. We ate in Berchtesgaden as it had life and better option. The hotel is ok for an overnight stay."

"Sehr schönes Boutiquehotel mit hervorragendem angeschlossenen Restaurant. Das Zimmer war sauber, neu und sehr geschmackvoll. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück war ebenso sehr gut. Der Rosengarten direkt neben dem Fluss ist dabei sehr einladend."
