Upon arrival walking into the facility, it felt very dirty. I felt the front desk area was unorganized and I just didn’t have a good feeling. Checking in was fine.
When we get in the elevator, it was just very dirty with old liquid running down walls. Landing on our floor, the smell was awful. We go to open our door and can’t get in. We go back downstairs where they tell us to open our door the opposite way. That already gave me off vibes because I shouldn’t have to turn the knob “upwards” to get in.
Walking into the room, there was tape on the ceilings that looked like a previous party was held. The bed skirt was 1/2 way off the bed and just a complete mess. There were stains on the walls and just looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.
I called corporate and told them I could not stay at this hotel and needed a refund. They directed me to go downstairs and speak to the front desk.
I will say I can’t say enough nice things about how they handled the situation. They were understanding and did not give me any issue with how I felt. They def put the customer first in this situation.
I advise that you truly read the reviews (because I didn’t) before you book this hotel. I paid almost $400 for two nights and for that amount of money, I wasn’t expecting what I got. This hotel is in condition to pay maybe $80 per night.
