This is a modern hotel in an ideal location with just a few minutes walk to the city and lively bars on 6th Street. Our room was large and well equipped, breakfast was very good and the staff were great. The hotel has parking but we didn't use this facility. I would recommend walking down 6th Street away from the city (About 15 mins walk) under the I35 for a more laidback relaxing day/evening with some great bars, restaurants and micro breweries (Zilkers Brewing, Lazarous Brewing and Saddle Up who also serve great food!)

Right in the largest homeless encampment. Did not feel safe walking at night back to the hotel. Easy walking during the day and convenient to pick up a Lime or Bird scooter. Hotel breakfast was good and pool area was nice.

For most part hotel/room was fine. Except for cold showers! That was unpleasant! Their was 2 of us the showers we took the furst half of the weekend was fine other half of the weekend was cold. Told staff hopefully they have it checked out for next guests.

The room was lovely. Super spacious with a view over the pool and a nice, filling complimentary breakfast. The day staff were awesome. However, the night receptionist was a little shabby and off-hand. When we asked for assistance with the lift as it wasn’t working, she wasn’t interested. My husband ended up climbing the fire stairs only to find paper wedged in the 2nd floor lift door which effectively shut it down.

Very comfortable room. Great outdoor pool area. Wonderful breakfast. Immediate area around was a bit run down but I did not feel unsafe walking to and from hotel.

Property was nice. Check in was at 3 I arrived at 5:30 and the room was still not ready. Was given free parking which was great, still have not received my receipt or deposit back.

The room was very clean (slightly smelled like bleach when we walked in but wasn’t too strong. I appreciate that!) the staff was nice, personable and accommodating and this hotel was right next to our concert venue as well as 2 streets up from 6th street if you’re into that scene. Parking was limited so we parked in a parking garage across the street but it was only $20 for overnight parking and I consider that decent for downtown Austin parking. I would definitely stay here again!

Front desk not responsive to requests. Had asked for extra blankets at check in. Assured they'd be sent right up. Get up to room and discover no bedding on sofa bed. Had nothing but a sheet; had no pillow, blanket or comforter. Called desk to let them know. Assured they'd take care of it. Took six requests and five and an half hours and getting upset and having to get it myself to get bedding. It's after 9 pm and no one was going to bring me any bedding. I had been up at 3:15 that morning and was tired and couldn't even go to bed as I had no bedding! Sofa bed so uncomfortable that we had to put the sofa cushions under the mattress. Mattress very thin. Housekeeping left trash on floor for two days, didn't honor request to not remake the sofa bed, didn't replace all towels. Drain in sink not working. Had to ask for new blow dryer as that didn't work. No fan in bathroom and peeling paint above tub. Breakfast okay but don't expect waffles. Pros; It is a good location to walk to bars on 6th street and Congress St bridge for bat watching. Parking $30 a day in parking garage that had ample space with unlimited in and out privileges. But If I were to return to Austin, I would not return to this hotel.

Close walking distance to everything. Had dirty towels in our room when we got there and had to exchange. Had to ask a number of times to get room cleaned first few days. After that everything was fantastic. Front desk staff was amazing. Always greeting you and made you feel welcome

If you are attending a conference in Austin this is only 3-4 blocks from the conference centre and makes for an easy walk to the conference centre and to 6th street for live music and eating

Took an hour a half before our room was “ready” after check in time. We ended up being late & missing another activity we had planned since we couldn’t get in our room to get ready. Missing sheets and took 3 tries to get them. Loud noise that we never figured out. The older lady acts like she doesn’t like people so maybe a customer service job isn’t right for her. Another time I went to see why my cards weren’t working. Had been in line but the lady gets a white man who just walked up instead of me. When I said something, she tried to be nice and play it off. Breakfast was not a real breakfast, free or included isn’t always better. Just not a good experience for the price. & paying for the area really shouldn’t be a thing. There are homeless all over the area and group of guys that huddled around the hotel a few times. So the area isn’t worth paying for.

Worst beds ever
The location is great, but the beds are rock hard. We never complain about things at a hotel, but we complained about the beds after the first night. All they could do was give us a mattress cover that was more like another sheet that we had to put on ourselves. We woke up sore every morning that we were there, so if you’re looking for a comfortable bed, look elsewhere. We also had a small lounge couch in our room and it had a big stain on it. It was so disgusting that we had to ask them to remove it from our room. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The location is great ,5 min walking distance from busy 6th street. The gym & swimming pool are fun. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. rooms are spacious, good amenties and clean.

Great location for downtown action
Great location for walking downtown to the hot area of 6th street. Felt safe walking there. Nice staff. AC was broke, so quickly they moved us to another room.
