Tacos in the restaurant were not really tacos, $61.00 for 3,tacos, a blt sandwich and a piece of cheesecake was high, plus a $10 tip. The breakfast buffet was lacking and we were never told there was a charge for it. When we got to the dining area the waiter said buffet or order from the menu- we assumed the buffet was free and there would be a charge for the menu, the buffet which was really not good was $45, we could have ordered from the menu for the same price and had what we wanted. Will not stay at DoubleTree again.

Room wasn't ready on arrival and had to wait. Phone in the room didn't work. Staff were nice however offered no discount for the delay or horrible check in. Place is clean and in good condition.

One important thing to know is that Valet parking is the only option, from what I understand. It is $55 a night (with taxes). The hotel is LOVELY. The staff are courteous and very helpful. It is a very busy area of town but our room was quiet without any road sounds.

When it comes to hotels, I feel my expectations are quite reasonable: comfortable place to prepare for sleep, comfortable way to have breakfast, and in an upscale hotel, some way to relax with friends (also staying at the same hotel). I was caught off guard how thoroughly a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton managed to fail at all three expectations. Breakfast? Dining area is closed, the best you can have is food delivered to your room, so if you want to have another cup of coffee, or seconds, back to first floor you go. No cocktails or anything else facility-wise available to relax with friends either. Want to read or work in the evening? Too bad, the light fixtures in the room blink, two of them, without rhythm or reason. We tried to use the pool, and could not bring ourselves to partake - it has not been cleaned in a while. Dishwasher noise level makes it absolutely impossible to sleep with it working. On a positive side, the room was clean, and the personnel was friendly. But no matter what they did, they could not offset atrocious state of the facility itself. I cannot shed feeling that I was treated to essentially a Motel 6 experience in a notionally 4-star hotel by Hilton.

I love the convenience of this hotel when attending events. The rooms are nice and beds are super comfy - I always sleep well. (Although the bedrooms need better lighting). On this visit, the hotel's restaurant was closed for renovations so the only food option was room service which was sadly disappointing for both the dinner & breakfast I tried. Especially for the price. My previous dining experience (when the restaurant was open) was far better.

While staying in this property I experienced many many issues beginning with the hotel it’s self, it’s been under remodel for over six months according to the staff, therefor many things don’t work and it’s extremely dirty every where you see. The staff isn’t helpful & the rooms are very poorly remodeled. In my room the handle to the balcony broke when I tried opening it, ripping a piece of my finger in the process that has left my finger disfigured & in lots of pain

I understand the lobby is undergoing upgrades but it was very inconvenient to get around. Nobody to show the way to the registration desk (which looked like a snack bar) and not even any signs to direct you to the registration desk. Elevator interiors were dirty. There were dishes in the hallway of our room that never got removed the entire time we were there. There wasn't a single trash can in our room until we were about to check out and only then at our request.

Thete wsd quite a bit of unmentioned, noisy construction when i arrived. However the desk people and the on duty supervisor upgraded my room and put me on the top floor, to isolate me from the noise. I liked that it's being remodeled and the cookies were amazing! The front desk staff was amazing. What I disliked is that I wanted to watch TV and it got very glitchy, all the channels. I understand that this is because it's under construction. I would have loved more illumination in the room. I like brighter spaces to live. I understand yellow light is cozy and nicer, but not for me. I like to have the option of white bright light where you can see yourself well when you put on makeup.

The a/c didn’t work the first night. The last night the water was turned off, so we couldn’t flush the toilet or use the shower or sink. The tub was stained. The door threshold was broken. The dishwasher made a horrible noise. In spite of all the ways this stay was unsatisfactory, the staff was wonderful.

Under construction, undisclosed fees, no water
The Double Tree was under construction, when we checked in we couldn't use water in our room, there was loud power tools being used in the room next to us at 9 am. It will probably be decent hotel when its remodel is finished but otherwise stay elsewhere. There was also a few to valet I didn't see posted anywhere in the app or at the hotel it wasn't mentioned until we checked out, $55
