We stayed to be handy to the airport. A clean, comfortable, basic accommodation choice. What you need to rest your head for a night before an early flight. Very very small rooms, but good size tv and heat pump. It was clean and tidy (the smell of the cleaning products were way too strong however - so strong we had to open the windows as far as we could and crank the heat pump to circulate the air out as best we could). The carpark/area is quite random and it was tricky to figure out exactly how it worked, but overall the Kolmar Inn served the purpose for what we were after

Stayed here twice now and have enjoyed both stays . Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are newly renovated . Walls are a little thin so can sometimes hear in the next room but over great quality for value

The customer service. Not very helpful and doesn’t help customers. I’ve stayed plenty of times and there is no consistency with the staff and they don’t have customer care especially the male who dresses like a women he’s quite rude and not helpful at all and doesn’t even greet you as a customer. She or he told me to bring a chromecast I then bring a chromecast on the next stay and then he says he don’t know how to do it. They didn’t even try ask some one else to try help they don’t give options but quick to take the money. Honestly I only stay at this place as a last option that’s all. I don’t like the service at this place and the facilities they offer!

Good value for the price. Our room was on the ground floor which required us to carry our suitcases down a steep set of stairs. No lift and no offer of assistance. The staff were otherwise friendly.

The room was really nice, modern and spacious. The hotel was a little hard to find so had to call them for help, which they did. Would have been great if they had a baby cot, as it would have been a lot easier to get my toddler to sleep.

The hotel is very close to a mall. Very clean and new facilities. Our room was very close to the phone desk and we were able to heard the phone ring during all night and also the staff talking and guess walking passed our room.

Agree with a lot of other reviews. The sign for the hotel is actually half way down the building on the reception side and under the restaurant name on the other. When you are negotiating traffic and trying to look for a sign it is easy to miss. Surprised how quiet the area was after dark. Our room had the to at 90degrees to the bed and only one chair to sit on. It became uncomfortable to watch the tv after a while. Watch the fridge as well. It freezes everything. Very convenient to the airport. Plenty of choice to eat out and a large Countdown if you want to pick up something round the corner.

Hard to find as it is not well signed from the street. The Vanity basin had a large crack in it from the centre all the way to the edge, which had white silicon over it (very unsightly). Otherwise room was great.

The room is very spacious with a comfortable bed and a very clean room. The small shower is broken but the big rain shower works fine, so there is no issue there. Nilam the receptionist was accommodating and friendly. Good value for money and will book again next time in Auckland.

Would have been alright if we got to sleep in the room but as it was had to sleep in the car as had no key to get in they said they sent me a email but that was B/S as checked before we left Australia and they reckon they put the key under the mat at the entrance but that was also B/S checked everywhere and there no mat there that night i assure you so by 2.30 in morning i gave up looking. I highly recommend not staying there if you get a late flight in. Will NEVER BOOK with them again thats for sure.
