"We were looking for a quick overnight in the East End, and the Harpoon House exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious (a suite!) and well-appointed, blending the charm of the original 1648 (!) building with modern amenities and furnishings. We didn't take advantage of the on-property restaurant (formerly Blu Mar), but the menu - by acclaimed chef Rocco DiSpirito - looked excellent, if a bit pricey. "Newly Renovated and extremely clean, well kept, and inviting rooms. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Location is ideally situated close to lots of shops, Goldbergs for bagels, East Hampton Beaches etc. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area."

"We stayed at the Inn for our anniversary last weekend. We are devotees of bed and breakfast hotels and loved this one. We arrived to find a huge, and I mean, huge, bouquet of the most beautiful white roses waiting for us in the suite that they upgraded us to. Totally unexpected. These folks could not do enough for us. Breakfast was extremely nice, cooked to order with quality ingredients. Bed was extremely warm and comfortable. The management, the staff, can't say anything negative about...

"Loved our stay at the Menhaden! Everything was great especially the staff who went beyond our expectations...from offering us champagne and my husband a great mocktail to cleaning the snow off our car! The place is so pretty and the bar has all fun games & all albums you can play. The king room was large, no bath though :( and it was a bit cold in there, they did try and fix it though. Breakfast and goodies available all day on our floor with sodas, water, coffee and cappuccinos :). "
