Thank you Mary for the feedback. You booked a standard B&B room with private ensuite & TV, this room shares a common kitchen/lounge area with one other room. Not sure about Tech savy as the TV & Clock radio worked perfectly. It's a tiled floor so not sure how that will creak. We pride ourselves on our rustic look, sorry that you don't share our taste in furniture. Heaters are available but the other guests must have put both in their room. Good manners to put things back where you find them, so thanks for doing that. You paid for a bed and breakfast in the cheapest room, we believe it's good value. We're a family so no 24 hr service, we do need to eat and sleep, after 6pm we only respond to emergencies.

This review is far from balanced. The property is hosted, the amounts for wifi are incorrect and there are 5 car bays for 4 rooms. We do not appreciate aggressive people, in G'ment depts this is not accepted, you did not want to talk to us in a civil manner even when we tried to help you, we even asked you to leave which you refused to do. We went out of our way to be friendly and helpful to you.

Sorry to hear that Kay. I suppose being winter and the pool cover on, was not inviting, but at 750 m's above sea level & our winter temps, very few guest want to use the pool. Good to hear that BlueGum is basic, that's what we advertise, our other 2 properties are more spacious and newer and more upmarket. Great to hear the other positives.

sorry to hear that we weren't satisfactory, we have taken your feedback on board and have replaced the mattress. We would say that the actual beds are better than motel standard.

Thanks for the feedback Sharon, we'll certainly take that on board both positive and negative. Beds are difficult, we can get 2 extreme views at each end of the spectrum in the same week. We have other properties with different bed set ups, let us know next time and you can have a look. cheers

Hi Anonymous, thanks for your feedback. We have the 3 properties,so we can satisfy all tastes, we're glad you found our upgrade satisfactory. Blue Gum is our cheapest option, certainly The Summit B&B and The Summit Rainforest Retreat are there to be booked. cheers.

Thank you anonymous, we're sorry that you were not happy but we are a real B&B and have been operating for 20 years with all relevant licences. The vast majority of our guests are very happy with the extra care and attention we give them, incl our self drive itineraries and happy faces. You received much more than 4 slices of bread, and fresh milk is not UHT milk, but it's easy to say such things in this forum without having to face the truth, we don't believe that you have the right to tell untruths in a public forum. Again sorry that you were not happy, we'll continue to do our best and provide an excellent service.

Thank you for your feedback Liz. We were away visiting a sick Grandmother when you stayed so sorry we couldn't help in person. We don't know what the noise was as only 1 person was there at the time. We're 1.7 kms from the main st, most of our guests love listening to the birds in the morning and feeling like they're in the countryside. If there was too much bed linen then simply remove it, as it does get cold at 750m above sea level where we are. Keep smiling LIz, we use to do a huge cooked bfast as part of our rate, however we still found that there were some people who didn't appreciate the time and effort that went into doing that and we were not financially viable.If you cannot eat wheat then you need to pass that information onto us and we'd provide alternatives. cheers john & helen
