Host was welcoming and very helpful with us deciding our itenerary for the day and a half we were in Normandy. Breakfast was delicious and in the beautiful dining room. Free breakfast and parking.

Parking was included. Carl is a professional cook so breakfast was lovely and plentiful. There is a lot of steps so if an individual has a mobility issue not the best place for them. Probably one of the most historic places we stayed near the Omaha beach. Central to everything yet very peaceful.

A lovely country estate near the D day beaches. So the doors shut neatly? Maybe not for a300 year old chateau, but that’s not why you stay there. Ten minutes from Omaha beach makes it a wonderful place for time traveling. Excellent croissants for breakfast, though the coffee could be a little hotter. Warmly received by the oatron and his charming dog Newton. Way cooler than a not very schmancy hotel…

Our stay was fabulous! Carl and Sabine were very welcoming. The continental breakfast was delicious. They were so helpful with dinner reservations and how to navigate the sights to see. Highly recommend this beautiful Chateau for a restful stay!

Excellent Choice!

An incredible experience and a perfect location in Normandy. Carl was exceptionally helpful with suggestions for when/where to visit and made dinner reservations for us each night. Breakfast was excellent and the property and room were both beatuiful.

Host was gracious and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The house is old and a bit rustic but that's the experience we wanted. It is close to the areas we wanted to visit. It was a great experience overall. Would stay there again.

We had a great stay in this Chateau. Carl cooked dinner for us one evening and it was the best meal we had in France. He also made breakfast every morning and was served at 9am. We enjoyed visiting with other guests at breakfast. Our room and bathroom were huge! This place had room to park our tental car for free and was convenient to all Normandy locations.

What a fabulous stay we had at the Château! To be able to stay in such an historic home was incredible. Our host was fantastic, his breakfasts were wonderful. His recommendations were excellent. We really enjoyed hearing the history of the Château.

Det var en fantastisk oplevelse. Et meget autentisk sted, virkelig en fantastisk oplevelse. Rigtig fint morgenbord i skønne omgivelser. Rigtig venligt værtspar, som var behjælpelig ift, hvad vi gerne ville opleve i området. Var også behjælpelig med at reservere bord på restaurant til aftensmad. Hvis vi kommer tilbage til området, kunne vi godt finde på at overnatte der igen. Tusind tak for en skøn oplevelse

We had 3 fabulous nights at the Chateau and could have happily stayed more. Carl and Sabine are the ultimate hosts and helped us with dinner reservations, sightseeing and more. We stayed in the Blue Room which was amazing - I felt like we had stepped back in time to the 17th century! Bottled water, tea and coffee were provided in the room and we had daily service which was nice after many hotels now providing this. Breakfast was amazing - cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread and a different pastry and tart each day - stunning. Carl gave us an informative chat about the history and gave us directions to visit places we hadn't even thought about. Restaurants in the small towns close by were fabulous. Next visit we will give Carl notice and have him cook for us so we can dine in house. Really excellent value to live in a piece of history in the Normandy area.

Château stay

We had a great stay at the Château. They were extremely friendly when they greeted us. They even helped arrange a reservation at a local seafood restaurant. Unfortunately we had to leave early, so we can't speak to the breakfast.
