"The room was of a good size, very clean and visually pleasing to the eye. Other rooms I had the opportunity to glance into appeared similar. However our room (no 3) had some issues in the plumb department. The toilet seat did not fit properly, it was quite difficult to get the flush to work properly, the shower leaked through the screen onto the floor and the hot water flow from the sink was almost non existent, also the plug did not fit properly. The bed, whilst vast (must be a super king) was...

"Perfect location for E Grinstead - right in the centre of town but set back off the road so not at all noisy. Rooms are cosy, clean, comfortable and well fitted out. Vastly preferable to a chain hotel. Highly recommended."

"Everything about the Buxted Park Hotel was superb, starting with the staff: they were deeply knowledgeable and personable. The rooms were beautifully furnished and afforded scenic views. Dining was a delight. Finally, we enjoyed the estate grounds. The Church of St. Margaret the Queen provided a religious and historical uplift. And don’t miss the many trails on and around the estate!"

Only disappointment was that we’d booked it for the racing and that had been cancelled due to being waterlogged so we went to Brighton instead"
