Gepflegtes, freundliches Hotel - etwas altmodisch

Für unseren Besuch des Moon and Stars in Locarno sind wir im Hotel Sasso Boretto abgestiegen. Schon der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich, das gesamte Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber, nur etwas altmodisch. Das Moon and Stars zu besuchen macht aber angesichts der enormen Preise nicht mehr wirklich Spass, haben wir doch für unser Zimmer doppelt so viel bezahlt, wie es sonst kosten würde. Leider schwindet sogar angesichts des Wachstums der Charme des Anlasses Moon and Stars selbst.

Preis - Leistung stimmt nicht!

wir haben als 12 personen gruppe ein weekend in ascona verbracht. leider ist es auch bei sehr früher buchung schwierig ein hotel für eine solche gruppe in ascona zu finden.das sasso boretto wahr noch die einzige möglichkeit.wir tätigten die buchung trotzdem auch wenn der preis pro zimmer mit 190.- franken schon heftig wahr.dafür erwarteten wir zumindest ein tolles hotel. leider wurden wir in alen bereichen enttäuscht.das preis-leistungs verhältnissnstimmt in keinem punkt.ich möchte hier nicht ins detail gehen da die entäuschung noch immer sehr gross ist.es ist uns aber klar geworden dass hier wieder mal die destination ascona dennpreis bestimmt und dies ist einfach sehr schade wenn man aus diesem grunde keine entsprechende leistung seitens des hotels erbringt.dann lieber wieder " sopra ceneri " und nach lugano! dort nächtigen wir in drei sterne hotels die diese unterkunft in allen belangen bei weitem übertreffen.

Tolle Lage, super Service

Ich habe vor dem Hotel-besuch einige schlechte Feedbacks gelesen und war entsprechend gespannt. Uns hat das Hotel sehr gefallen. Toll der Service. Man hat uns die Wünsche fast von den Augen abgelesen. Die Lage in Gehdistanz zum Zentrum war ebenfalls top. Frühstücksqualität top Auswahl könnte grösser sein. Zimmer gross mit vielen Ablage- und Stauflächen. Einrichtung etwas altbacken. Zimmerreinigung (Teppich) nicht super.

Tolles wochenende im tessin

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Lage tip top nur ca.10min.zur piazza. Einzig die matratzen in unserem zimmer waren viel zu weich, sollten mal ersetzt werden. Gerne wider einmal.

Wir buchen wieder das Hotel Sasso Boretto

Ascona ist immer eine Reise wert. Das Hotel Sasso Boretto würde ich immer wieder buchen. Preis/Leistung stimmt, grosszügiges schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksbüffet, sehr zentrale Lage(alles zu Fuss erreichbar), genügend Parkplätze. Ab Morgen Früh hatten wir bei offenem Fenster jedoch viel Strassenlärm von der Viale Monte Verita.

Aufenthalt war eigentlich angenehm, aber dass bei 37 Grad Hitze und 98 % Luftfeuchtigkeit keine Klima-Anlage vorhanden war, macht alles Gute, was dieses Hotel hat, zunichte.

Kurzurlaub mit Frau

Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Grosser Parkplatz in der Nähe. Bei Ankuft war nur für ein Gast ein Handtuch und Badetuch vorhanden. Wenig PC Papier. Nach Rückfrage wurde alles ordentlich geliefert. Sanitäranlagen sind renovationsbedürftig. Frühstücks Buffet ist sehr mager. Dieses Hotel hat auf keinen Fall 4 Sterne verdient.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein für ein Doppelzimmer! Und die Badewanne müsste auch mal ausgewechselt werden! Die Glaswand bei der Wanner hätte eine gründliche Entkalkung nötig. Bei den Fenster (im Zimmer sowie im Speisesaal, dürften auch wieder einmal gereinigt werden!)

2 Tage ohne Stress

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Wir fühlten uns Willkommen. Die Zimmer- und Badezimmereinrichtung ist nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel entsprechend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und vielfältig. Die Superlage gefiel uns ausserordentlich, obwohl wenige Parkplätze vorhanden (wir mussten auf einen öffentliche Parkplatz ausweichen).

Das Hotel ist an einer relativ guten Lage im Zentrum, allerdings weder am See noch mit Sicht auf den See. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer und auch sonst das Hotel grundsätzlich sauber, allerdings komplett veraltet. In den Zimmer ist das vor allem im Badezimmer zu sehen. Das Frühstück war ok. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt sicherlich ok, aber für Ferien eher ungeeignet.

2 Nächte in Ascoa

Wir wurden in diesem Hotel herzlich und unkompliziert empfangen. Wir haben sogar (vom Hotel aus) ein grösseres Zimmer bekommen. Das Badezimmer ist etwas veraltet. Sonst hat aber alles gepasst. Ein paar Meter weiter ist das "da Chioa" - super Essen und Service.

Freundliches Personal, Hotel in die Jahre gekommen

Angenehm, Preis/Leistung war ok. Nettes Personal, schöne Liegeflächen im Garten. Zimmer angenehm gross. In 5 Minuten zu Fuss am See. Hotel jedoch recht in die Jahre gekommen, Bad nicht mehr so toll. Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig.

Sehr Angenehm das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Chefin kennt sich im Gebiet Ascona sehr gut aus und kann unsere Fragen in jeder Hinsicht beantworten.Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz das neuste z.B. Lift, Nasszellen im Zimmer. Jedoch das Hallenbad ist für das Alter gut für die Morgengymnastik.Im allgemeinen werden wir das Hotel wieder einmal Buchen.Mit freundlichen Grüssen M.Ziswiler

Zentrale Lage

Hotelzimmer war nur knapp belichtet, Badezimmer hatte kaum Licht. Zimmereinrichtung ist wie auf Bildern, Spannteppich fleckig und abgenutzt. Hotelpersonal spricht mind. Deutsch und Italienisch, Indoor-Pool war zweckmässig, "Fitnessraum" als solchen zu bezeichnen wäre übertrieben. Hotel hat, was verwunderlich ist, 4 Sterne. Mit wenig Aufwand/Investition wäre hier viel zu machen. Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Dem Hotel würde ich maximal 3 Sterne geben.

Praktische Lage, sehr ruhig, saubere komfortable Zimmer. Dass wifi im Zimmer nicht funktioniert hat und gerade niemand da war der das hätte ändern können ist hoffentlich eine Ausnahme.

Es ist nicht 4 Stern würdig. Das Hotel ist renovationsbedürftig und meiner Meinung nach höchstens 3 Sterne wert. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Das Personal wahr sehr freundlich. Für ein 4 Stern Hotel ist das Frühstücksbuffet von der Auswahl zu wenig und zu einfach.
