Great hotel a little off the hustle and bustle of the nearby ocean towns, with hospitable and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend.

Great location for the drive up through Spain to the French channel ports - amazingly warm welcome - easy parking - spacious room - super breakfast - easy check out - super hosts - highly recommended

Nice old Basque building. Not over renovated but nice and clean. Breakfast is copious and hearty. Staff super friendly and even gave us their mobile number when the reception was unmanned. No wifi but that is part of the back to nature Pyreneees experience.

A wonderful hotel in a brilliant Basque village.
A wonderful Basque hotel in the superb village of Ascain. The Staff were exceptionally friendly and I enjoyed speaking a little Basque with them! We hope to return in the next year. Milesker! Gorka

Superbe hotel! Accueil très souriant et chaleureux! Tout le monde dit bonjour et est au petit soin! La chambre était très propre et sentait super bon! Quelques cheveux dans les tiroirs de la SDB : mais je n’en tiens vraiment pas rigueurs! 😉 Il faisait très chaud mais nous avions un ventilo, mis à disposition par l’hôtel, qui nous a sauvé! 😊 Super rapport qualité / prix!

C’est un hôtel au charme authentique (à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur) avec un accueil et un service exceptionnels. Il est bien situé dans ce joli village d’Ascain, à 5 minutes du train de ja Rhune Mention spéciale pour le buffet basque au petit déjeuner pour 12 euros. Très belle expérience au restaurant des chasseurs au coin de la rue . Merci 👍

Tres bon séjour
Tres bon accueil , toutes les personnes très sympatiques et très accueillantes. Le soucis permanent de bien vous servir. Hotel dans batisse ancienne qui a du charme et grande propreté. Belles chambres. Bar avec belle terasse sous platanes. Petit déjeuner très copieux avec des produits de qualité. Tables très espacées et mise en place des mesures covid irréprochables.
