Very clean room and general property. Staff were all friendly and accomodating. They make excellent coffee
I really enjoyed my stay at Lake Duluti! It was peacefully and tranquil which is what I was looking for. The property is amazing with lots of trees, plants and animals. Having my own chalet gave me a lot of privacy and made it easy to have restful nights. The staff were helpful and made my stay comfortable and fun. They would have my chalet preped for sleeping when I was having dinner. I would stay at Lake Duluti again if coming back to Arusha.
The property grounds and room are exceptional. We wanted a light snack at night and didn't care for the menu which had hamburgers French Fries . I asked a cheese tray and fruit platter and they made one up for us special. It was very good. The only thing about the lodge is that they have a very limited overall menu. You only get to choose the main course and it's only two options. For the first night we were there for lunch we had the beef tenderloin and it was very hard. I did not eat it. It's a beautiful setting with beautiful rooms. I think they should offer more options for lunch and dinner for the price point. If you're at all interested in getting a good meal you may want to book elsewhere.
The facilities, including the lodge, furnishings and buildings were tip top, much to like. The greenery - trees, gardens great.
Some of the staff - especially house keeping were unresponsive/slow and if something was requested in the room, took too long, and once we requested towels at the swimming pool which were never delivered even after following up. One staff, called Saidi was great, with impeccable service.
The entrance to the lodge is through a busy and chaotic market place: the lodge could consider an alternative entrance from lake Duluti Road. Overall awesome experience, and place is worth the stay.
We stayed here one night after a safari in Tanzania. Our room was very spacious and clean enough - just a little dusty here and there. Bed was very comfortable. Reception was not very friendly. Servers in restaurant are very accommodating and friendly. Dinner was very nice - breakfast definitely lacking compared to the other hotels we stayed at that had the same price point. Nice place for a night.
After two weeks around Tanzania this was the best. The manager allowed us late check out at 4 to wait for our flight home. NO CHARGE! Very understanding.dinning was very good.
Lake Duluti Lodge is truly a beautiful property. The rooms are better than photos and the service was impeccable! Rooms & property super clean & deluxe. Beds are very comfortable, staff was professional & kind, food was good! Our stay(s) there was perfect!
