Yes there is a bumpy 15 minute ride from the main road but the pay off is a tranquil environment to relax at Kili Villa. Our room had a lovely outlook to the gardens where local fauna and birds did their thing. The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the experience could have been improved with better communication about food and drink options when we arrived (with an explanation card). There are no other options for F&B in the area (aside from the golf club) so there was no range of choices for wine (1 x brand offered at a very high mark-up). If we come back to climb Mount Meru, we would stay again.

Kili Villa felt like home! It is a very comfortable and relaxing place to start or finish your safari trip. We stayed at villa b31 for two nights for the start of our honeymoon which was calm and private. Marry really took care of us every single moment and never hesitated when asked any special requirement. On the first day the hotel nicely decorated the room for us and made a special romantic table for dinner outside some meters from the fire that they call kili tv! (A well deserved name) Stephano the manager and the chef gave us the best service too - everyday he asked what we want for dinner and prepared the best meals we ever tried through the whole trip! Kili Villa is a place to remember - never go to any other place! Note: most of the profit goes to charity (building schools, education of kids in Tanzania, clinics..)
