"Yami was very accommodating and helpful with our needs around the area, getting a unit with a kitchenette, getting food, changing money and doing laundry. She is a great host, the room and common spaces were very clean. The location is great for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and across the street from beach access. It's at the end of the street, so very quiet as well. I would recommend to anyone. "

"The stay was very welcoming! Casa Lola is super cute and well maintained and right in front of the beach. Cari was amazing and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. "This guest house stay was absolutely perfect for our time in Varadero. The host and her husband were so warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We were presented with fresh juice inside their house. Our actual room was also perfect including a kitchen and patio. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We were also offered breakfast both mornings for a small charge - VERY worth it and delicious! The hosts also helped to arrange our transportation back to Havana for a good price....

"Roberto and Martha are lovely. Breakfasts were a delight (Roberto's pancakes!) And they managed to feed a vegan really well with fruit, tomatoes and bread, no mean feat in Cuba! "Mara is a wonderful host! It was such a pleasure staying at this location A few things to keep in mind: - There's no wifi at the residence but you can purchase a cheap wifi card from a store close to the park in Santa Marta. You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out...
