"The room was basically good and the hotel is in a great location. On our arrival we found two problems - first, the sliding door to the bathroom was off its rails and stuck open. We had to wait till the following day for it to be fixed. The whole door arrangement cheapened the look of what was otherwise a comfortable room. The second problem was the shower faucet. "The apartment is in a great location to explore Bergen from with the main high street 5-10 minutes walk, the Fishmarket 10-15 and Bryggen around 20 minutes walking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby along with the mandatory 7-11 on most corners. The property had everything we needed for the time we were there and was very well equipped, very clean and spacious inside. "Location was wonderful and the hosts were helpful when checking in. It was clean and ammenities worked well. The linens were clean, but we had put the bed together which was strange. The photos do not show that you may get a different apartment than pictured."

"Location is very convenient, room is nice but lots of issues : 1)- thermostat doesn’t work well, room either too hot or too cold. Notify staff and nothing was done. 2)- Mirror in bathroom if too dark and not useable. 3)- Staff on weekend has no knowledge of anything else except checking in and our for guests. 4)- Breakfast is nice but eating in the dark and low ceiling basement is not a way to start your day. 5)- management is completely out of touch on the weekend."

"After long trip of Norway in the nutshell from Oslo to Bergen. It was so tired and when we reached Bergen train station, it was raining. The most amazing thing happened that the hotel is just beside the train station, less than a minute walk. The next amazing thing followed that the lovely staff upgraded my room to a brand new family suite. I totally enjoy my two nights stay here."

"Overall the property was clean, but not a great hotel if you have issues with stairs. They gave us a room that you could only get to by stairs (full disclosure, they did carry our bags to and from the room) but you had a flight a stairs just to get to the main lobby. Would not recommend the hotel if you are older. Restaurant where breakfast was at was beautiful, but some items on the buffet were ice cold."

"When we were in Bergen, there was a hospitality strike going on. As a result, the hotel service was impacted. Breakfast options kept shrinking the 3 days we were there; coffee machine maintenance at times was behind, checkin line was long. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable. Location was great. Rooms were charming."

"It is supposed to be a quiet environment. My room was facing a centre court void where downstairs was a restaurant storage. One morn at 5am, was awaken by moving trolley like moving something in out. Other ngt was hearing many happy moments laughter beer time and light music till late ngt. Otherwise, everytg is perfect."
