"I would like for the room to be cleaned every day (especially need clean towels and toilet paper) but they did hand out a paper that explained their cleaning so that was very helpful. When I was at the breakfast buffet, there was only one kind of oatmeal. Would be nice to have a variety and also a plain one with some possible additions like raisins and brown sugar."

"The Motel Bear Lake was all we wanted it to be My sister and I were born in the 50s and vacationed in Northern Michigan during our childhood. We met the owner during our stay and discovered that her desire to restore the motel to it's former 1960s glory is a labor of love based on her childhood memories. That brings a magic to the Motel Bear Lake! The beds were awesome and our check in was seamless with the no front desk and keypad lock.
