Easy walking distance to everything
Had a problem when booking in, in afternoon. We had booked a family room but receptionist told us they are only for 4 people and since there was only my husband and myself we were given a standard room. Contacted Hotels.com through Messenger App and they had it sorted out by late evening. First room was a standard room 108, socket hanging off wall and night light cover missing. Our new room 106 was big, clean and had lots of windows and balconies (not to sit out on). Beware when having a shower as pressure very strong (which is good) but head can swing up to ceiling and flood bathroom. Lady doing breakfasts was excellent, very attentive. I had a coughing spell she came over with a glass of water. Nothing was too much bother for her. Breakfast consisted of bread, 2 meats, frittata, cheese, yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fruit, teas and coffee. Hotel in easy walking distance to everything. Plenty parking round about hotel. Hotel has small areas needing tended to, curtain hooks missing, sockets hanging off wall etc. Wouldn't take much to make it look smarter. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean but the decor was very faded, tired and shabby. There were burn marks on the walls by the light fittings which didn’t fill me with much confidence. The soundproofing was poor and the windows didn’t lock which on the ground floor wasn’t very good. I felt it was overpriced for what it offered and for the condition of the property.

Look elsewhere.
The hotel was dirty and smelly. Room decor was a hotchpotch of different colours. Air con control knob missing and curtains dropped of poles. No bulb in bed side light and used paper cloth lying on floor. Staff helpful enough but fighting a losing battle.

This hotel offeres excellent service, clean rooms, A/C ,Tv, fridge, quite rooms, close to the stores and situated close the center of the city. We had a very nice staying at this hotel and we definitely we will come back. Very Good price for an excellent hotel.

Is very quiet place, nice for resting, close to restaurants and nice parks. We go t the last rooms, the problem was for one person to walk a lot to get into the room, I don´t know why the staff doesn´t pay attenction to that situation

Travelling to Granada stayed overnight staff were helpful in finding a restaurant. Reasonable for a night and room was clean. Quiet area of town and parking was very easy. Safe area for walking around.

Decent hotel
Air conditioning didn't really work, but we had big windows which helped cool the place down after midnight. The showers worked well but didn't drain fast. Rooms were quite large. Beds were quite hard, but typical of Europe. Nice location in the middle of town with markets nearby.

Nice hotel in the pretty town of Aranjuez.
A little difficult to find but just ask for the Large Fountain Area (fuente de agua) and the hotel is near there. Pleasant staff with facilities for Bar, Cafeteria & Dining on site. This is a very nice hotel but just starting to show the signs of maintenance needed with the following points noted to the manager. Bath handrail hanging by a thread, the fire/emergency room lighting hanging on by one screw only, no soap lquid in the shower container and 4 bottles in the bathroom all with the same writing on but different colours for products. If these problems had been dealt with prior to my stay this hotel would have had a higher rating. Used the Bar, Cafeteria and Dining and all OK.

Either your back office or the hotel messed up my reservation, costing me an additional 60eurs to place my two friends for one night and paying an additional 20eurs per two days for the larger room. I expect to hear from you ASAP, since you did not reply to my first complaint. Norberto Torriente

Excellent overnight stay
All we hoped for and needed re location, easy street parking immediately outside hotel, helpful concierge, safe central area and perfectly adequate continental (Spanish-style) breakfast. Room was an added bonus in that it was much larger than expected with two full length windows overlooking front of hotel (on fairly quiet side street). Good shower and bathroom very clean despite being older in style. Everything in room worked. Very good price for what we had and will use again en route from/too Santander. Aranjuez a very pleasant place to visit and the royal palace very well worth a few hours - we were very pleasantly surprised/impressed by it and our excellent english-speaking guide.

We stayed here on night to visit the Palace at Aranjuez and then to get to the Madrid Barajas airport to fly out the following morning. It was easy to find free parking on the street and the neighborhood was quite safe since the police station was across the street. The breakfast buffet was good and had a nice variety of Spanish items, including tortilla espanola and fresh fruit. We had a teenager so a cot was brought in that was quite small, but it worked out OK.

Very clean and good service
Staff was helpful and kind, room was clean and Internet was working well. Hotel location is convenient for shops and bars, and just a few steps away the gorgeous Prince gardens.

Hotel Don Manuel - Aranjuez
Nice hotel convenient for stop-offs on the motoray passing through Madrid and for visiting the Aranjuez Royal Palace. Hotel was located in the centre of the town close to local attractions and with plenty of safe, street parking. Good, free wifi connection and large, comfortable room. Only negative was the simple breakfast with no hot food and no restaurant for dinner in the evening. There were, however, several restaurants locally.

Hotel Don Manuel Aranjuez
Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and courteous. My parents had booked a twin room, and when the receptionist met my elderly father, she suggested she change the room so that they had a large shower cubicle instead of a bath, which would have been difficult for him. We didn't even have to ask! Our double room was lovely, fully airconditioned and breakfast was a help yourself buffet. Location excellent - on a main road and 5 mins walk to the palace and the gardens. Parking is free on both the streets beside the hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel. Thanks to the receptionist for lending us a UK plug adaptor!

Hotel centrico , nos dierón la habitación 16 , muy antigua, las lamparas no funcionaban, cama antigua, el baño limpio, pero con una cortina en la bañera , le falta una reforma rapida , es una pena , hace unos seis años nos alojabamos con frecuencia , y nunca me dierón una habitación asi ,la ventana daba a un patio, teniamos buenos recuerdos pero... por el precio que cobran cualquier otro , esta mucho mejor

De kamers worden dagelijks goed en naar behoren schoongemaakt. Dagelijks schone lakens en handdoeken. Het hotel is centraal gelegen. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het enige minpuntje vind ik, was dat wifi in de kamers zwak of er helemaal niet was in de slaapkamer. In de huidige moderne tijd is het toch een “must”. Misschien is het voor de directie het overwegen waard te investeren in een goed wifi-bereik. Verder is de neonverlichting van de naam “Don Manuel” aan vervanging toe. Ondanks deze opmerkingen heb ik toch een positief gevoel en verblijf ervaren. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam.

Nada q ver con las fotos . Mantenimiento 0 cosas rotas sin reparar, cortinas descolgadas, toallas desgastadas y rotas q dan sensación de suciedad y dejadez , y q decir de los colchones . Mi hijo de 5 años no pudo dormir en el sofá cama por q se le clavaban los muelles del colchón q estaba destrozado y se suponía q este sofá cama es para dormir 2 niños. A parte tenía un lateral todo roto. La cama donde durmió mi marido un horror también cada vez q se movía parecía q se rompía la cama. En fin un desastre de lugar yo no paro más.
