"In the morning there was only cold coffee and no food items offered, not even a stale danish or roll. The room was clean and comfortable but there were no amenities such as a coffee pot with coffee creamers, sweeteners, or cups. No table and chairs. Bare bones only. Air conditioner was loud and was very annoying but it was a hot 100+ day and was needed. Staff were very nice and helpful but obviously things are being run on the cheap. "Honestly this has been my worst experience. We found 2 roches, the guest two rooms down were on some drug substances (yelling outside), the room was suppose to be non-smoking with it stuck and needs remodeling asap!!"

"We picked Memorial Day weekend! Big mistake! There was a large group of sweaty stinky Hispanic people who rode their side by sides out in the desert by the hotel for 2 days and late into the nights! Noisy and dusty! Them and their children and women jumped into the pool and the hot tub without showering and în their sweaty clothes! Kids had no water diapers and it was disgusting! I had to leave the pool area immediately or throw up do to the smell and bad hygiene! Never will I ever go there on...

"Great place to stay in Barstow. Room was clean and had all amenities that would normally be expected, and more in my opinion. Breakfast options were great for a motel. Parking area was closed in (still always accessible to main road but not completely open and exposed), so felt car was safe. Food, coffee, and movie theater within walking distance. Did see a cockroach outside, but not in room. Would stay again if I make my way through Barstow."

"The staff was very nice. Breakfast was the usual fare and well stocked. Our only concern was that the shower curtain was too short and caused the water to puddle on the floor. That can be a slipping hazard."

"We had 2 towels for a room that slept 4 when we asked for pool towels white 4 people present again we got 2 towels. Granted once we got to the pool it was dirty and gross so we did not end up staying to swim anyways. The water faucet in our room to was hands was broke, our feet black from walking barefoot in our room. The beds were comfy and breakfast was fair."

"We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any problems while we were there. This a self-checkin place, so we didn’t meet any staff but everything was well explained and provided in advance that we didn’t need to contact them. The location is also a few minutes from the village, which is very convenient. The one thing that we were not prepared for was the coyote screams in the middle of night, but now that we know how they sound like we won’t be scared next time."

"Big parking lot with easy access to hotel and back out.. Incredible service and staff. Lounge, amenities and everything that a Hampton Inn provides always brings it to the top! Clean rooms, easy access TV, and comfortable sheets with a plush bed. Overall excellent experience and I’ll be back for sure!"

"As of June 2026, the pictures don't reflect it's true condition. We stayed in room 17, (lake view) which is rundown and needs improvement. The main door and hardware are interior grade and didn't feel secure. In the pictures, note the 'wetbar' and TV location. The 32" TV is more than 15' from the beds, like you need binoculars to view it. Our bath vanity was loose from the wall and had no hot water. The shower tile had more grout repairs than original grout. And the single light fixture left...

"Staff was not very friendly, and they were even worse when they saw my dog. “That will be $$75 more for your dog….kind of rudely. I expected a charge but when you are paying over $300 per night for a room….my dog is 11 years old and obviously not a dog that would ruin a room. Very unlikely that I will stay at this property again"
