"Incredible views, beautiful huge patio with nice patio furniture. The room was clean and pleasant. The property is not brand new, but there were no broken furniture or dirty carpets as mentioned in earlier reviews. There was no carpet in the room. The place has more of a Bead and Breakfast feel than a hotel. The Hostess was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations for meals. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!"

"The hotel worked out very well and I was pleasantly surprised for a last minute trip to the area. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room as clean and roomy. The only thing I would recommend is blackout curtains in all rooms. I had a bright light reflecting from the outside wall with out blackout curtains waking up really early. "

"The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. The view was beautiful and the grounds were kept groomed and peaceful. Short walk to shops and restaurants and short drive to other small towns. Only complaint was that we get charged for Resort Fee for things we did not use: pool, weight room. beach."

"This hotel is quaint, but could be improved. There weren't any laundry machines on site. No continental breakfast. To speak to the hotel manager/front desk, you have to talk through a window: clearly safety has been an issue in this place in the past...possibly still. The first room I was in (117) had issues: noisy a/c, broken chair, damage to the bathroom door--wouldnt close, traffic throughout the night, and a ceiling that leaked when the room above took a shower. Good: The bed was comfortable and it was clean. I reported the leak to the front desk and they moved us to room 111. It was further from the road, so less issues with road noises. This room was clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Neither room had any place to put our clothes, so we were living out of our suitcases. We went swimming in the evening at the pool. To my chagrin, there was some kind of trash in the pool (napkins), at the bottom bugs, dirt, feathers, hair. The jets on the pool weren't turned on. The following day, we did see someone cleaning it in the morning, but I doubt it had been cleaned on a while. The price of the hotel was reasonable for what it offers. (We paid about $800 for a 12 night stay.) The neighborhood: There were a few unhoused individuals in the area, but no one bothered us. The gas station was very conveniently next door with the lowest gas prices in the area. Molly Brown's Restaurant was also next door. The food was very good, but on the slightly more pricey side. "

"Front desk was overwhelmed when I checked in. They had customers waiting and they were on the phone with a manager trying to resolve issues within the hotel. when they finally help me they promised to refund the room because I had to wait and was given a smoking allowed room in lieu of non-smoking. They eventually check us in. The hotel is noisy due to its location near a main intersection."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking was free and directly in front of our room. Staff was wonderful. AC & ceiling fan in working order. Opened the sliding glass door at night to enjoy the night air. We came with our 20 lb dog and had a $25 dog cleaning fee which was reasonable. Would happily stay here sgain."

"It’s a really run down property. Access staircase is rickety and broken with a dirty rug over it and is a trip hazard. The room configuration is strange. The runner inside the room is filthy. The best thing about the property is the caretaker (Jennifer I think?) who is superb! That said, the view is fabulous, the bed was comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave made it nice. Lots of DVDs were available, and the breakfast was adequate. "
