The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

"The Grove was perfect for our group of 4. We rented a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom suite and there was ample room for plenty more guests. Overall the suite was tidy and accessible. It was a short walk from our room to the water park and pools. I was a little disappointed about the water park. There was only 2 water slides and a very small lazy river. Besides that, it was a lot of people, crowded together, in a small place. The pool water was warm, almost hot, so it wasn't very refreshing, but we tried to make the best of it. There was a discrepancy between the closing time of the water park. The waterpark closed an hour earlier that was posted throughout the resort. I believe it's posted to be open until 9pm however they closed at 8pm. Idk why. We were very surprised and disappointed when we checked in only to then be told about the daily parking charge. We had to pay the resort we were staying at to park at the resort we were staying at. Make it make sense. The charge was $35/day + tax totaling around $37.10/day. For a week long stay it was an unexpected expense of $260 that we were blindsided by. One more thing I wanted to mention was the cleanliness of the resort outside of the suites. The hallways, the stairwells, and elevators were not up to par with the rest of the resort. The outside is beautifully maintained, and the suites are clean and well kept. However, the stairwells, hallways, elevators could all use a good cleaning, a new coat of paint and possibly an air freshener!"

"Place is exceptional, but be prepared to pay $38 a day for resort fees and a hidden $34 a day plus taxes for parking. The suite I got was very nice, but to be charge $157 after I leave the property and I just spent 2 days is ridiculous. As mentioned the place was kept clean the amenities were good, except the extra charges and sometimes its a headache to find parking spaces."

"The place is beautiful, and the villa we stayed was spacious,too. I also liked the farewell gift and the luggage storage services after checkout. However, there was very strong odor inside during our check in. Behavior of some front desk staff was not polite. They are understaffed I believe, because sometimes they even don’t respond if you call the desk service. Also, they told us to organise the linen in the entryway and throw the garbage outside in their check-out message (though they said it was not mandatory), which, in my opinion, is not the responsibility of the guests. We have already paid for those services."
