"Everything was perfect! Bonus was the view and firewood ^^ Access was slopy and not covered dirt road, can be slippery when wet. Our RAV4 struggled a bit because of the slippery slope from overnight rain. "

"Room was not clean dirty towels cups and unmade bed. Property owners were not available. It was the worst experience. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "

"An absolute gem. One of those rare places that is designed and maintained with genuine care and highest standards. Expansive views of the unspoiled countryside with the ocean sparkling in the distance. The roomy soaking tub and wood-burning stove were soul-filling after being out for walks in the cool June weather. Mark and his dogs led us to see a koala nestled in one of their majestic trees. Gorgeous grounds and friendliest hosts we've encountered on our travels. We will be back."

Having windows from floor to ceiling let nature close while enjoying air conditioned environment. Never met the hosts but email communication with them was quick and responsive."

"Nette kleine Hotelanlage, etwas verwinkelt. Kleine Terrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeiten vor unserem Appartement. Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet, so dass wir auf der Terrasse zu Abend essen konnten. Fußläufig (10-15 min) ist ein Supermarkt. Frühstück wurde uns in einer Papiertüte beim Check in übergeben. Das war merkwürdig. Ganzes Leib Brot, Butter und eine Marmelade. Dazu zwei sehr leckere Säfte. Von unseren Unterkünften entlang der Great Ocean Road das teuerste, deshalb aber nicht das Beste....

"The room is large, clean and comfortable, with a double sink and a separate shower and toilet. The only gripe I have is that there is no door to the shower, so it got a bit cold when we stepped out of the warm shower. There is a cozy lounge on the ground floor next to the reception, where complimentary tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and water are available throughout the day. We made full use of these as they saved us the hassle of boiling water in the kettle provided in the room. There are also complimentary washers and dryers with detergent provided as well. The young man at the reception (sorry I didn't get your name) is friendly and helpful. The staff also sent us directions and driving information which proved useful in finding our way to the motel. All in, a solid place to stay in."
