"This property was incredibly lovely. It is well outfitted and conveniently located. Everything is nice, new and sparkling clean. The host goes out of her way to make sure all you could possibly want is taken care of. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The best coffee I’ve had in Taiwan. It is within steps of the boat landing, the bike route and the cable car to the Formosa Village. The charm of this little hotel made going to Sun Moon Lake all the better. "

"Great customer service! They are very helpful to guests, and it is a unique guesthouse with lots of wood and art. It is right around the corner from the Sun Moon village night market. There are a few resort villages around the lake, but this one is the closest to the cable car that goes to the Aboriginal Culture Park. The cable car is walking distance (and worth the ride), but you can also rent bicycles or electric bicycles very affordably near the hotel and get around easily."

"Exceptional property, hidden in the mountains. Excellent quality of water (natural spring water from the mountain which is rich in jades). Extraordinary landscape, comfort bed, clean room. They even have an outdoor hot tub where the natural forest is right next to you. We saw monkeys on the way up to the property. "Our stay at the Sun Moon Tea Hotel was perfect. The entire hotel was spotless and very quiet. Our host was slso very friendly and replied promptly to all my questions prior to our arrival. During our stay, she was also very helpful with suggestions and information. We were upgraded to a suite and the suite was amazing. I would book here again without hesitation."
