"The good- We stayed in one of the royal palm rooms on the beach and it was beautiful. Mini split ac kept room very comfortable, nice bed and bathroom and the location on the beach was perfect. Entire resort feels very private and not crowded in any way. The views were amazing, the water was amazing, and the beachfront dinner was AMAZING(beyond worth the upgrade). "The Royalton CHIC is a stunning resort, however there is room for improvement. The check in and check out staff were abrupt and not at all what would be expected of a Front of Service. I felt rushed at check in and 3 inexperienced young ladies were all speaking at once. No real happy friendly hello. Nice small swimming pool .Small shop which sells a few but not all products for self catering. .20 minute drive from airport. 10 minute drive from St.Johns. Supermarket 5 minutes drive. "The cottage was fabulous, the view was beautiful, my only reservation was the cottage being up a fairly steep hill (well steep for me) otherwise I couldnt nor would want to fault it. The actual Galley Bay beach has no sun beds or refreshments but that said the smaller bay has a patch of grass you can lay on, more shade and a much smaller unihabited bay. Absolutely loved it all "

"Overall, my stay was quite good. The environment and location were great, and the host was very friendly. The only areas for improvement were: the seasonings were a bit limited – salt and pepper were almost gone; laundry detergent needed to be brought from home; and the shower water pressure was a little low. Aside from these, everything else was perfect, and I would gladly recommend this place."
