Stay was good but hotel rooms aren’t being cleaned properly or at all. Food served is cold 90% of the time. Staff are friendly except one manager that spoke to everyone else except us (man with grey/white hair). In a good location close to beach and alot of shops!

From the moment we stepped into Wind of Lara Hotel & Spa, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself is stunning modern, clean and beautifully maintain but it’s the staff that truly made our experience unforgettable. A special shout-out to Rose from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable every single day. Her kind nature, attentiveness, and professionalism were unmatched. She truly made us feel like valued guests, not just room numbers. The manager with a fringe on the reception desk omg I just loved her was always smiling and helpful, making sure our dining experiences were top-notch. Her energy and friendliness made every mealtime a joy. We were also impressed by Behram and Attila, who were both incredibly hardworking, respectful, and consistently ready to help. Whether it was assisting by the pool or ensuring our needs were met in the common areas, they delivered exceptional service with a smile. The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious with great variety, and the entertainment was vibrant and fun for all ages. The pool areas and spa facilities were especially relaxing. Every detail felt thoughtful and well-managed. Thank you, Wind of Lara team, for making our holiday so special. We can’t wait to return and we’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family!

I don’t recommend it. It was shocking when you are brought to the room with trash left in the bin, wet sink, used soap, used towel and pet bottles left under the bed. No cup was installed and they never bring it even if I asked for it. They said medical consultation is free but there was no such service existing. They didn’t even provide ice cube when my child hit the head because of their wet floor. Food is not well made. Everything tasted too less salty and not much variety in cooking method. In snack time you will basically only have fried or baked potato and some fruits. Facility itself is big but it’s running with far less employee. People don’t speak English.

Not relaxing, beware of the taxi

I was over the bar that serves free drinks until 2am. Not very restful until after 2. Lots of choices of foods and drinks all day. Music blaring all day, sometimes 2 playing at the same time, so not relaxing. Room nice, poor bedding or inadequate Spa staff very pushy and not really a great paint job to be honest. Allowed me a 2 pm check out, possibly as I had slipped over on a wet floor. Taxi arrangements are not good, wanted to charge me £30 to the airport! I walked up to the road and got one more than half that. Yellow cabs are great

Hotel is good. Great staff. However, poor internet connection in the hotel. Unless you have good roaming plan, you will suffer from internet connection. Went to a cafe next door, they didn't offer internet connection.

Staff doesn’t speak English, even if you have a complaint they don’t understand you. There is no supervision in the cafeteria or around the pool area. The room cleaning is very sloppy, they even forgot to change the bedsheet. When you call for something they are not responsive. The food in the cafeteria is not the best and a lot of flies all over. The facility is not bad but the service is horrible for a five star hotel.

I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at Wind Of Lara Hotel, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. Firstly, I noticed that payments are only accepted in Euros, which could pose a challenge for American guests. Upon our arrival, we encountered a manager who was quite unprofessional and unwelcoming. It was apparent that tipping significantly influenced the level of service received; without it, we felt a distinct lack of respect. Additionally, the housekeeping standards were disappointing. We found that bathrooms were not cleaned adequately, and our pillowcases were not changed over the course of five days. Moreover, we were provided with only one key card for our room, regardless of the number of guests. The dining options were also underwhelming. We experienced a lack of variety, as the same meals were repeatedly served for both lunch and dinner. Given these issues, I regret to say that I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, especially those from the U.S. Our seven-night stay turned out to be quite frustrating, and I feel it did not justify the price we paid. I hope improvements can be made for future guests.

It's a 4* hotel, nice enough for a short stay

The hotel is nice and very clean (especially for Turkish standards!), the food was good and there was a decent selection. The drinks etc were decent, albeit you couldn't have a cocktail or anything without some sort of syrup and an incredible amount of sugar! The main drawbacks are the bedrooms—the bathrooms smelled extremely bad (of sewage), so I struggled to sleep at night. Some of the bathroom decor was unfinished—the wall was plastered but not tiled or painted. It didn't affect its use, but it felt off. Also, when I checked in, the bathroom light wasn't working. It took until the next day, midday, for someone to come out to fix it. The walls and doors were so thin that I could hear people having conversations in the next room without their voices being raised. The gap in the door to the main corridor was big, meaning I could hear noise all through the night until 2 a.m. when people went to sleep. My room was positioned close to the lifts, so the noise was intense and constant. On the last night, someone new checked in to the room next to mine and they decided to have a 'party' there—music blaring and shouting until nearly 4 am. I traveling home exhausted!!! Most staff do not speak English, so making requests, etc, is very challenging and awkward. Nonetheless, they are helpful and try their best to help if you can explain what you want. The Wi-Fi is intermittent and not great; it often concks out, especially outside by the pool. 4* hotel at the max
