A Great Find!

This hotel provides excellent value for money. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the delicious breakfast and free coffee, tea and water throughout your stay is an added bonus. The room was comfortable and when we experienced a slight problem with the shower drain being blocked it was fixed within half an hour. A pleasant riverside walk takes you to the old town in 10 minutes. We highly recommend this hotel.

No type-eyed hotel for the price although not great. Parking can be an issue so I would advise you to reserve room in their car park. In our room, neither the extractor fan in the bathroom or our room heater wete working. Luckily it was not too hot or cold.

Disappointing room location.

Ideally located for the station and a pleasant riverside walk to the old town. The air conditioning is set for the whole hotel and was in winter mode so only gave hot air. I switched mine off and opened the windows. Unfortunately my room was on the first floor above the entrance where people congregated for smoking and the smell would rise up! Nice breakfast with some local foods included. Would stay again but would prefer a different room location.

Hotel set afire

During our second night the fire alarm went off and we went to the lobby and told ok to return to room. Ten minutes later the alarm went off and firemen were on our floor. After an hour standing outside the fire captain said someone came in and started the fire when the front desk was unattended. Lives were at risk because of their carelessness and needless to say we slept little that night!
