Great hostel. The staff is very friendly and made me feel welcome. Hostel location is convenient for walking into the city or taking the bus. It’s also very close to the beach. Continental breakfast is decent and the view from the breakfast area is great. The actual room is basic and a bit small and wifi only worked for me in the common area by the reception. For the price, it’s a great option to explore the beautiful town of Annecy and I would definitely stay there again.

This place was absolutely gorgeous, with its views over lake Annecy. It was nice and quiet, as most people were out hiking and biking during the day. The kitchen was clean, and I loved sitting out on the deck. There was a full breakfast, which had lots of great options and I was very happy with.The only bummers I had was that the shower had very little water pressure and didn’t stay on for very long. Also, there isn’t much for transit in that area, so be prepared to walk or bike. For the price, it was very worth it and I was happy. I would recommend it for others coming to stay.

Horrible! The accommodation is located on a hill somewhere with limited connectivity. Long, steep walk to the accommodation so be prepared. The facilities sucked. No WiFi in the rooms, no Air conditioning in 34 degrees Celsius weather.

This place was horrible. Trust the other bad reviews and do not stay here. It was dirty (there was hair all over the hostel room’s floor, there was mold in the shower, the shower was horrible, when I went to turn on the shower a swarm of flies flew into the room out of the drain (the shower is in the room), and it was stifling hot with no ventilation. I had a two night reservation but had to leave after the first night because it was so bad and gross and unclean.

I had about 10 nights left I had booked while looking for a job and place to live. I asked the manager if I could have a refund on the remaining nights. He said yes no problem but because I booked through Expedia I have to contact them to get the refund. So I contacted them immediately and they tried calling and emailing several times while they were right there in the office not 10 minutes later. But they didn’t answer until after I left town saying that I would not be getting the refund of the remaining nights after telling me in person, face to face, that it would be okay. Straight up lied to my face and then hid until I left town, ignoring calls and emails from Expedia until I had done so. Never staying in HI Annecy again (which I very much intended to on small holidays from chamonix) or any HI Hostel again.

C'est la meilleure auberge où je suis jamais allé, c'est très beau, il y a une vue magnifique et ils vous offrent un délicieux petit-déjeuner, c'est un endroit super, fortement recommandé. De ma chambre j'avais une vue sur le lac d'Annecy 😃

El albergue tiene un enclave muy bonito. Está situado como en la parte alta de Annecy, alejado del centro pero con unas vistas magníficas del lago y te puedes adentrar en el bosque y dar paseos o hacer deporte. El problema es que si vas con maletas subir hasta allí es difícil y tienes que coger la línea 27 de Semnoz. La bajada es muy agradable y en 15 minutos estás en el centro. Sirven un desayuno delicioso. muy variado y de calidad. Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas. Las instalaciones son viejas. La wifi no funciona bien en todo el establecimiento. La limpieza regular. En cuanto al precio de una cama o litera en habitación compartida, viendo los precios de los hoteles en Annecy, diremos que es asequible.

Chambre convenable, un peu petite, douche aussi. Manque au niveau de la fenêtre, un film protecteur pour éviter que les gens voyent à travers de dehors surtout au rez de chaussé. Une chambre qui est très bien pour une ou 2 nuits.

Bon accueil, personnel tres sympa autant de jour que le veilleur de nuit. Tres petite Chambre partagée à 3. Drap propre, chambre propre. Pas de prise individuelle proche du lit (1 seule pour 3 et vraiment mal située). Pas de lumière de "chevet". Salle de douche dans la chambre pas du tout insonorisée mais temperature parfaite. Bref cetait correct mais peut mieux faire (par rapport à d'autres auberges déjà testées)
