"The staff was great but this is definitely not a full service hotel...it has a ton of character as it's in an old manor house with very pretty grounds and close proximity to the water. Great breakfast and comfortable enough but it would be nice if there were a bar/restaurant in the hotel - while the closest restaurant is probably a 20 minute walk away, it's not really walkable. "We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel!!! On top of everyone being super kind and helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room overlooked a beautiful church, we felt like we were in a movie. The room was spacious and our bed was very comfortable. The food and THE DRINKS AT THE TEXAN can’t be missed. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches… even the included breakfast.., you really can’t go wrong at this location. It has everything you need. 10/10 recommend and will be returning!!!"

"I have travelled a lot and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! The staff was phenomenal and beyond helpful. We had trouble getting a taxi to the airport at a very busy time and the staff worked tirelessly until one was found. The property is lovely, the breakfast was superb and the room was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again without hesitation."

"Beautiful views. Nice pool but could have been better maintained. Front desk staff lovely; very helpful. Unfortunately, breakfast buffet and their staff need work. Coffee machines often down, food would ruin our and there was sometimes a long wait. Staff was not always pleasant either. Definitely some training needed there."
