This hotel is in a good location and the staff is amazing. The pool had the dirtiest water I have ever seen in a hotel pool though. There was everything from pieces of paper, plastic, hair to bugs all floating in the water. The gym is decent, restraunt is great and everyone is very friendly.

Customer service and staff was excellent. GREAT timely and considerate customer, and that makes up for the overall condition of the property. Second value added. I loved the out door movies of major films at night. They reminds me of the old outdoor drive theatres. Great touch!

need so improve and a make over
Such a waste of a great location. i have stayed here often and each time it gets a bit worse and of course older. the staff are great and try but i stayed 5 nights, no wi fi ever for more than 5 minutes, and i need it for what i do. first 3 nights no hot water. the food is not worth ordering, so we ate elsewhere everyday bar the first try.

This place is very unique. Unlike many places, the staff treat you like family and care very much about the guests. That’s really an understatement as to how good this place is. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else but there. Next time I stay, there will be no hesitation as to where I’ll stay.

Great hotel
Top-notch hotel !! 24 hour restaurant with excellent food, 24 hour pool and hot tub - 1+1/2 blocks from the main night spot street. Room has refrigerator. Was spotless, friendly courtious staff- just the interent was slow- will stay there again on my next stay!

Couple very happy with stay
We (1 x Australian male & 1 x Filipina) stayed for 2 x nights in a Deluxe room. Hotel is in a central location, good for accessing nearby restaurants, bars and the famous walking street. The room was spacious, had everything we needed and we really appreciated the large dispenser for drinking water (much better than the two small bottles usually provided). The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. Only negatives were the room smelt of tobacco smoke (I doubt there are rooms provided for non-smokers) and the bathroom fittings looked cheap and fragile. All staff were friendly and helpful…we would definitely consider staying here again and I recommend Score Birds Hotel for couples (there were also two x families here at the same time) and singles (you will be able to take a visitor to your room without drama).

Pay careful attention to your charges
The hotel isn’t new but is in decent shape as compared to others in the area. But unfortunately you have to be so careful with review of charges because. I was notified on Checkout that I would have to pay for a bath towel and hand towel because I had stained them. These were not new towels, they had a lot of wear but I was made to pay full price. I then demanded that the towels be given to me since I had purchased them. They balked but then complied and became very nervous. They wanted to start to document by taking pictures, but I reminded them that since I had already paid for the towels they were mine and I had no intention of providing them access to them. I took the towel back to China, threw them in the wash and they laundered clean without difficulty. I am now the proud owner of two clean but well worn towels that the front desk manager at shorebirds made me pay full price for. What a joke and scam.

Air conditioning didn't work in our room, so they moved us to another room, and it was better. The water in the shower couldn't be regulated. It would be extremely cold or extremely hot! There was no in-between. The young girls at the bar were not very attentive and seemed a little too shy. The front desk manager seemed a little arrogant when I talked to her about possibly renting a property the hotel owned. She seemed not to take me seriously even though I told her I owned 3 businesses in the USA. I felt very disrespected. Overall the stay was nice, and most of the staff was friendly, helpful, and sociable. I would stay there again.

I stayed in the score bird for a week when visiting Angeles City. The staff are great everyone is very polite pleasant and friendly. With special note to the excellent reception team. The rooms are a wee bit old but kept in reasonably good condition and clean. With good cleaning staff The food is very good and well priced for the area. The restaurant and room service staff are very good and they do all they can to help. I had friends come to visit me at the score bird they used the pool had a great time and plan to use this hotel the next time they’re in town.

This hotel excels at timely customer service and convienence. The customer service was superior to many 5 star hotels that I stayed in. Great value for the money. The downside is that there are no NON smoking rooms. However, as evidence by their outstanding service, this hotel went out of their way to clean my room, change the sheets and air it out where it was NOT noticiable to me that someone smoked in that room. This will be my go to place now in Angeles because of its great location, price, and customer service. Something else. The way that the place is organized, it was great way to meet other travelers to go out on the town. The exchange rate at the hotel was very good as well. In addition, Clark is a very good modern airport to fly into or out the Philippines, and it cost by Grab only 350 peso. I would use Clark and not Manila for future travels.

The lobby area and pool area are very calming. If you like Hawaiian type decore and ambiance you will like it here. Food is good, but a little expensive. My only complaint is they have no non-smoking rooms when i tried to book.
