"Cute hotel, staff are so nice and the property clean. Good location. Restaurant and bar good food, kitchen very slow to get food out. We were given a handicap accessible room (we didn’t need!) just be aware there is no room for your toiletries/makeup as it is just a sink in the bathroom. And the room temp never got below 72 even though it was set lower. I will say maintenance tried to help with this, but to no avail. Hotel has train on one side and busier street on the other, so rooms are noisy."

"It's a house converted into a hotel in a quite neighborhood in Girdwood. You have to be quite as walls are thin. There's a grocery store close to it if you need anything."

"Not a place for families, but ok for a single guy who can’t find another place on short notice. FYI only a few rooms have their own bathroom, so make sure that you know that going in. Loud outside, but plenty of parking tbh"

"The location was okay, but not great. Each morning we were awoken to some jerks doing donuts in the adjacent parking lot between 5:30-6:00am. The worst part was the mattress, it was pretty bad. It reminded me of the cheap mattress that comes with a travel trailer. Needless to say my girlfriend and I were sore each morning after sleeping on it. I wouldn't go here again."

"We only used the shuttle to get us to the civic center for our next destination and reserved it when we checked in. The first room we had was not good at all and requested to be moved which was honored. The hotel had a slight refurb but could definitely use an overhaul of the rooms. We only stayed one night and it was suitable for the price."

"This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. The desk clerk was unprofessional. The room window would not close. The heat/AC unit was so noisy that I had to unplug it to sleep. The room chairs looked like they came from a garage sale - they didn't even match ! The property was close to the rail yards so there was train noise all night"

"The man at the front desk when we checked in may 21, 2026 around 4:30ish pm was the best. He went out of his way to explain parking to me. His explanation should be included in the voyager inn website because it is a complete picture of your options. The website just says public parking - let me tell you the parking availability is dicey. You must pay the meter when you street park. Check the rules or u will be ticketed. The lot across the street that is for parking services has time limits...
