"We were privileged to stay in this palace. When driving up to the building you get a feeling for the grandure, but on entering the reception it's jaw droppingly impressive.
The staff were very helpful and happy to share their knowledge of the history of the building.
The breakfast was excellent.
The woodland grounds are beautiful, we spent a day exploring with a picnic (you have to be fit, it's very steep in places)
The room was clean and functional but not at all luxurious.

"This is not a new place, but it is very well maintained and clean. My reservation had breakfast included, so I was able to enjoy the very nice buffet. The rooms were very nice, and the whole place is a good base to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. the staff was very friendly and able to help out whenever needed."
