"Nicely refurbished hotel. Looks like exterior as well as rooms are newly painted, bathroom was sparkling clean and had what looked like new tub/shower, the rug also looked new, bed was comfortable, very cheerful, helpful woman checked us in, 24 hour fresh coffee, heat worked well. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. The hotel discontinued the breakfast, but were were informed of that immediately when booking."
"Hidden gem! Clean and well maintained. Great location and easy to get to. Lots of guests but very quiet and cozy.
Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area in the future. Highly recommend to others looking for a clean, friendly hotel."
"Efficient and center of town. Older but renovating is happening. Stayed Friday to Tuesday but wasn’t there much except to sleep. TV, refer, microwave all good, in room heat and air controlled in room was great. Had a rental car in lot out front, no issues with crime while i was there. I don’t think they went into my room at anytime, garbage or linens could be put outside to let them know want new or call front desk. Also next to a grocery store so if forget toothpaste or anything, it was convenient early or late. Reno is make over, but my room was superficial trim paint etc.. but fixtures and faucets etc old."
"Raj at Studio 6 in Butte deserves a trophy—and probably a vacation! 😂 He was kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, the rates kept my wallet happy, and my kids loved the pool so much that getting them out became my evening workout!
The renovations are looking great, and having a bar and casino in the hotel was a fun bonus. We came for an affordable stay, but Raj’s hospitality made it memorable. We’ll be back—although the kids might try to pack their swimsuits before their clothes! 🏊😄"
"Nice motel, will stay there again>
Motel was difficult to find. One an earlier trip I had a room there, got to Butte and couldn't find the motel. I had rented two other motels that same trip and on my phone there were reminders/information about the stay. That was NOT true either that time or this on the Red Lion. When I got to Butte I drove around all three exits looking for it. I did not know the name only that it had Lion in it. I finally gave up and got another room. AGAIN, EXPEDIA did not send anything to my phone with Motel info. This time I took a screen shot so had it. The motel is past Butte at a place called Rocker. I pulled off there to gas up and found it by accident.
The other complaint that I thought was construction related and told staff about the next morning, was a loud noise like a staple or air nail gun, over and over that night. The staff said there was no construction and had to be another patron making that noise. There is no phone in the room so couldn't call the desk and was already undressed."
"What a fabulously beautiful old hotel. I would spend the few extra dollars and stay in the hotel just for the view of the city!! Go to the main floor and sit in one of the overstuffed couches and leaf through a book in the library. Nothing cheesy about this hotel."
"The lodge was very unique. They are an off grid property, thus, no WiFi. Our cabin was rustic which means you need to leave the room to get to the restroom/shower. Glad we brought headlamps."
